Fury Toys Samurai Force 3rd Party Turtles

I would much like for it to be not-Ninjara and not-Alopex, definitely.  I know there are at lest two female Turtles out there, Venus DeMilo and Jennika, and I've no doubt whatever Rage/Fury comes up with will appeal to me design-wise, but the foxes are what I'd prefer.  Another thought I had wtih Crimson was maybe April, but human characters haven't really been a thing with this line so far.  I wondered if maybe they'd do her as a mutant and use the accessory kit to make her human, but I'm sticking with fox twins as my first choice here.  Can't wait to see what they came up with though.

Well, Raph is part of the same wave, according to 5K Toys.  We could be seeing that video soon as well.

Very cool looking female Turtle, but sadly I'm just getting Bebop now, and hopefully Rocksteady at some point.

Holy cow! I’ve never been more pleased to have made a guess so disastrously wrong! Lady Turtle looks incredible! Very cute and looks fun to pose. Is that gonna be her actual color scheme or is that a “prototype” just wash over a print thing like how Figuarts prototypes are fully painted grayscale versions.

The only male Turtle I have on order is Summer (because he reminds me of Abe from the Oddworld games) so guess I’m building a team on Samurai Turtles from a universe where there’s only three of them and they’re all girls (see earlier post: From 2012 onward Mikey should have just been a girl and no one can change my mind!)

Don't need her thankfully.  I assumed it was going to be Jennika and/or Venus Demilo, neither of which I was ever into, as I'd rather have the family of OTHER mutants growing, as expanding the immediate turtle family beyond the 4 brothers seems offputting, at least to me.  I'm find if they're adjacent characters or allies and such, but other anthropomorphic animals are more interesting than more turtles to me.  Plus this one's head has that kewpie-doll quality that I dislike from some of the new comics.  The sculpting is obviously good though and the weapons look great, but as I've already paid for Mikey and Bebop I'm likely only in for Rocksteady and Raph and perhaps Shredder if they make one.  At these prices I don't even know if army building a few Foot soldiers are worth my time, as I've already paid for 2 Lingjihun Turtles also and the 1/12 scale and look of those is slowly drawing me toward that line over this one.  But even then, of those I'm likely just sticking to the 4 turtles.  Excited to see Raph though from this line.

These are a tough call. They look pretty fun to pose, but do I *need* lady turtles? Likely not.

Might just have to wait for them to go on sale to pick one up.

With their inclusion, really has me hoping we see a version of Slash, even if he's just using one of the brothers bodies, it would be fun to have one of these in a darker turquoise with the back accents.

Honestly, at this point I'm basically buying two of each of these figures if they have TMNT counterparts.  One for the TMNT of it all, but I'm also collecting the line as its own thing.  I'm just so taken with the guy's design aesthetic, and I think his figures are honestly some of the best being offered by anyone, just so expressive in their posing and look.  I'll take as many TMNT re-dos as he cares to do, as well as any new characters.  His sharks and Monkey King and Azure Lion are fantastic as too.

Weird that they're not announcing it on Instagram yet, but it looks like they're not starting the "only pre-orders" thing until the 1st, which it might be in China already but isn't yet here?  Anyways, got my 2nd payment in for two figures and an accessory set.  Suppose it's too much to hope for it to be here for the weekend, but let's keep that hope alive!
