Did something happen to the distro on the Hera/Chopper/Darth Revan/Krennic/Pre Viszla wave? I never saw any of these in a store and they were all hard to secure - I still don't have Viszla and I didn't even realize Revan had come out!

Was it just me? Any rumblings on repacks for any of these?

The distribution on TVC is horrendous!

I have never seen those either.

My Target's TVC pegs are routinely just empty.

The most recent wave I have seen at Walmart is the Darth Vader & Luke in X-Wing Pilot suit which does nothing for me because of how many times those characters have already been made.

The one I really wanted Darth Revan is at crazy prices on the secondary market

Is there no thread for the retro collection?  Is it that unpopular?

This is what the Retro wave should be about, IMO.  Kenner-style stuff that did not make it to the original line.  I'm a Stan Solo fan, but if I can get a decent Rebel Fleet Trooper for the low price that the biggest mass-market toy producer in the world SHOULD be charging, then I'm all for it.  If Hasbro doesn't drop the ball to much, I'm in.

I regret passing on the ROTJ set even though I only wanted 2/6 of the figures.  That's an unfortunate aftermarket price.  Here's hoping for a rerelease.

Some TVC collectors have some resentment to the Retro Collection as it’s gotten some figures that haven’t been done in TVC yet. Both lines have their place but with the introduction of this line it does feel TVC has been given even more of a backseat to the other Hasbro lines.

Personally, I don’t like looking backwards and want figures to look the best they can rather than kinda crappy so they might fit in with the original Kenner figures. But if both lines sell I don’t see any issue with continuing the Retro collection. Just because it’s not for me doesn’t mean others aren’t really enjoying it.

Got the Moff Gideon's Hallway - which works nicely as generic Imperial corridor. I really like the look of it, including the floor being that reflective Imperial black, and assorted Stormtroopers look great on it.

But I was a bit disappointed with the design in that the floor and wall parts have locked in male/female connectors - there would be many more combination options if everything was female and the male pieces to connect were separate so you could combine all sections in all combos. As it is you can't connect two or more sets to form one long, continuous hallway (in terms of floor pieces) without a large door in between and you can't have large doors on either side of the shorter flooring section to form a junction, or connect two of the short doors to each other. I love the concept of the modular design but they needed to put in the extra effort to have it be fully modular.

I also got Gideon's Hallway because I didn't want to wait! I like the shiny black, but it does seem a lot less interchangeable than the Rebel Hallway. But I've had three of those and I don't remember how many pieces came with one.

Walmart has a lot of recent TVC figures on sale right now - search vintage collection and keep scrolling!

Any and most recent TVC figs are on crazy discount right now at Walmart - I've bought and rebought most of these three or four times at this point.

Holy crap! I just got my Ghost delivered and the box is absolutely massive (and heavy)! I am so glad I only ordered one. I can’t imagine where anyone that ordered multiples would put them. This shipping box alone demonstrates why this couldn’t have been a retail item. Wonder how the Cantina will compare since it’s modular and likely able to be shipped much more condensed.

Found Indara on a road trip yesterday. She's got a great little likeness. Was surprised to see only her on a peg since I didn't know that wave was out yet!

@yojoebro82 There definitely was a thread for Retro Collection at some point, but with the different versions of the site going in and out, it likely got lost or didn't get restarted. This is the preferred line for me for 1:18 scale figures these days. I've gotten every wave except Ahsoka and Acolyte. I'm really happy about the refocus on the original trilogy. The latest wave has some great choices for never-been-done-before figures, but I wish they gave Ponda Baba his jacket and pants look, and not this straight reissue of the old vintage wetsuit look. That's probably an unpopular choice, but it's what I was hoping for.

I'm surprised they haven't tried a new blue Snaggletooth in any line.
