Can anyone tell if there's anything new on Dooku or Fisto? Looks like R2 has the jet thrusters in his legs like R5-D4 came with in that Target-exclusive droid pack; the new single release R2 from a year or two ago didn't have those thrusters.
@enigmaticclarity I could be wrong, as I haven't taken the time to do a comparison yet, but I don't think so. At most, Dooku might be a little bit better face printing (not that the original is at all bad), but he appears to be the same other than that. The colors on Kit maaaaay be a tad darker, but that could also be the lighting of the official photos- he looks like he has a little more of an orange hue there, but in the livestream, he looked the same (and they even said he was the same as the previous release). Was hoping for at least a Jedi robe for him or something, but alas. I doubt we'll see a new Kit, unless they do a CW version for a Clones of the Republic pack one day.
It did strike me as a little odd that they'd take the time to give R2 new parts, but nobody else. Not even the aforementioned cloak for Kit, which (I assume) would've been easy to include.

They already did that for R5-D4, so all they had to do was use his legs and his thruster effects instead of the ones they originally put on R2 in 2023. So my guess is there was no new design time or new molds needed for that upgrade.
Kelnacca is in my PoL. So he's hitting. Wookie jedi few. Ill ship mine soon, waiting on something else I really want to get added.
I already bought a custom head (with cap) for Krennic, so I don't need him.
The Praetorian Guards give me sequel trilogy flashbacks and I don't need that reminder in my life.
Pilot Disguise Andor is probably specific to one throwaway scene. I'll wait for the show to see how significant it is.
Kit, Dooku, and R2-D2 are already in the collection (though if they weren't I'd be getting them).
So it looks like it's just Gideon for me, probably. I'm on the fence about it.
I was really surprised that nothing really came out of NYTF.
@red_ogre I suspect that they're waiting until Star Wars Celebration in April to announce new product. Of all the cons to not have anything new to show, a Star Wars specific con would be the most egregious.
Entertainment Earth is having a couple promos right now- free shipping on orders over $79 and a free $20 discount code to use on future orders if you spend over $100. The new wave is in stock (although Bacara is sold out), but the Commando Droid and Xizor are in stock still if anyone is interested. I'm tempted to pull the trigger, even though I don't order from EE as much as I used to.
Super weird thing about my Kelnacca pre-order on Amazon... I couldn't find it at first because the pre-order was more than 3 months old, so when I looked the figure up to rebuy it Amazon says it's available to ship now and be here by March 7, so I was about to pull the trigger but then I notice it said I had already purchased it in December... so then I went looking through orders placed in the first week of December and sure enough there it was and it says it's scheduled to be delivered on April 24th.... so I can order it today and have it delivered by Friday - or I can keep my pre-order and have it delivered in six weeks? That's weird.
Well, Kelnacca was just dropped off on the front porch and I am a happy man. Finally that Wookie Jedi is all mine.
Now excuse me while I go off to film my own take on the movie 48 hours with Kelnacca as the weary cop/Jedi (cates) and Krrsantan as the gruff criminal (hammond) he has to partner up with in order to track down some rogue bad guys Krrsantan used to run with - Brutus, Bossk and 4Lom...
Placed an order for Kelnacca on Amazon per your info, Panther, so thanks for that. I had the pre-order as well, but the new order I placed now says it'll be here Monday, whereas my pre-order still says some time in April. Weird how that works.
Shortly after, Amazon also updated my Xizor as arriving Monday as well. Hope the rest of the wave isn't too far behind.

While the Xizor wave stuff would be cool right now, my wallet needs a break. The XMen Nemesis stuff may be hitting pretty quick here too.
@trunks3540 Wallet no need money, shelf need plastic. *various unga bunga noises*
Lol. Wallet need money when bills need paid or Trunks have no shelf to put plastic or house to store it.
Not related to much of anything, but my brother got his first ever look at the action figures I keep in the studio (had the family up for my birthday last week) and the WONDER on his face made me think hey, maybe this isn't such a silly hobby after all. And I happened to have an extra Mandalorian figure still in the box I'd bought for my best action-figure-collecting friend who ended up already having one, so I'm like: want your first Star Wars Black Series figure? Would've thought I gave him the moon. He walks upstairs with it and my mom asks "is that for (your son?" and he clutches the box to his chest and says NOPE, THIS IS JUST FOR ME.
I gotta say, best feeling I've ever had on my own birthday was giving someone else a Star Wars figure. Made my whole flippin' day. I joke around that this silly, overpriced habit is my only real dopamine boost I get these days, but sometimes it's not a joke, y'know?
Unrelated, I got the usual Pulse "might be shipping soon" notification about Kelnacca and now I'm like, eyeballing the front porch every afternoon like a dog waiting for a treat. "C'mon, gimme my wookiee jedi..."
