Curiosity got me and I checked today and the final number has changed for me to 16,184.
@tfitz Yeah I just checked and both ways to check the numbers come back with 16,184 right now.
So a big drop from the high number and a big bump from the low number.
I saw something from Ghostbusters News about Hasbro potentially re-releasing the 1984 figures as a four-pack "with some updates".
It felt like they danced around the issue, but it was never actually confirmed.
I bought Ray back in September on the aftermarket and just spent close $90 on Egon... Now I'm wishing I had waited a couple of days.
This would be cool if it does turn out to be true as I can complete the team at once.
@brandwizard That's the rumour right now, but I don't think anything has been officially confirmed yet.
Got the O-ring Ghostbusters and Ecto-1 today. Very happy with them - Ecto-1 has nice detailing and feels sturdy especially for a $60 item, and the scale seems perfect with the figures.
One nice touch is you can get 3 GBs in the front seat (in the film at times Ray is driving, Winston is in the middle and Venkman is on the passenger side). Conversely not enough legroom for Egon in the back seat which is annoying to get him to fit in naturally. The proton packs from the figures fit nicely on the stretcher. The various tubes, ladder, etc. come loose and need to be connected but pretty easy to figure out what goes where.
I think the likenesses on the O-ring figures is very good for the size of the figures. Good range of movement on the figures as well and stand OK.
Glad the larger Ecto-1 funded, but I'm pretty content with this combo for $100 - for someone who is not a GB superfan like me this is just right and glad I went this route instead of the HasLab.
So a week on and I think it is safe to call the final total at 16,987 which is where it has been at for a couple days now.

@fac sorry to @ you on a post from weeks ago, but I saw some people on socials modding the Ecto-1 to better fit the O-ring busters in the back seat. The seats are just held in via screws accessible from the bottom of the vehicle and the post they're on is a separate piece so you can just take the seat out, remove the post, and then screw the seat back in to get more head room for the guys riding in the back.
