Just the thread for anything Ghostbusters. With the new movie coming next year, hasbro will probably release a line. But I hope they make some Real Ghostbusters plasma series.

@blankslate I think they should brace themselves. I was thinking the other day, one thing that I might go for in this line is the original 4 buster sculpts, but in the cartoon color jumpsuits. That'd be fun.
I just need a Plasma Series Slimer.
A Real Ghostbusters wave would be pretty easy. Full reuse of the bodies, just new heads, packs and accessories. Add a Slimer and a Janine, and a BAF Samhein and you've got a killer wave that's gonna sell out. People loved the DST figures and those weren't that great.
@spinc Samhein or a BAF of the human sized logo ghost in the title sequence. I feel like they had a couple of other really great ghost designs. I know there were one or two that terrified me as a kid.
They could also do a Ghostbusters 2 wave with the dark grey suits you only see for a montage and the slime packs. I'd go for that too. Suuper easy reuse with just new packs needed. Have a Vigo the Carpathian BAF and call it good.
I'm not getting my hopes up too much. I'm expecting a costume or accessory. I'm hoping for more figures, but it could also end up being another mash-up. But hey, as long as they keep the license and releasing things, we know Ghostbusters is on their radar, and there's always hope for more. Louis, Janine, Slimer, and Vigo are all needed.

It may end up being something I have to sculpt myself, but I've always dreamed about a modern, slightly more realistic(similar to DSTs Real Ghostbusters) Boogeyman figure. I've always thought there's plenty of room for some fun, spooky embellishment without it feeling like it was too far from the original design.

If it's a Haslab, I'd think he'd be a good candidate. But y'know hat would probably work even better?

You could maybe do the mods it has in GB2 as possible stretch goals? Hmm.
Or it could be more prop stuff. The slime pack. Who knows. Weird to have a reveal that there will be a reveal.
I could see Mattel’s failed Ecto-1 and the ML Engine of Vengeance disaster making them think twice about an Ecto-1. The Stay Puft costume in the teaser is what made me think him.
