Got the brown Owlbear from BBTS last week and it's just as nice a BIG MONSTAH as the white one was.
Anybody know if they're likely to reuse the buck for maybe a BugBear?
Got my Displacer Beast delivered a week or so ago. It's a nice one! It suffers a bit in that it's nearly impossible (that I've found) to get all its feet to touch the ground at once, so it's always at a bit of an angle, but it looks really good in the display. Had to force the tentacles a bit to bend to a way where they weren't too top-heavy and taking up too much space, but I managed.
I'd like Hasbro to shit or get off the pot with this line. A mind flayer would be a nice place to start.
I am loving my Xanathar and Owlbear, as well as Drizzt. I really hope they do more with this line, because it is my favourite Hasbro line and nice to mix in with other fantasy lines like Plunderlings, Mythic Legions and more.

I know Hasbro won't do it, so I guess I'm low key hoping I can find some Owlbears on clearance somewhere and then find a sculpt/cast partner willing to work up some modified heads so I can build an owl army

This is an awesome idea. I kind of want to see some little owl/elf owl versions of the owl bear. A bit smaller, but more nimble and ferocious!
How does the brown owlbear compare to the white one? I haven't been able to find any reviews online, but was thinking of picking it up.
It's exactly the same as the white aside from the obvious color and head changes. I love both of them and want more. They're fun monsters for my 18th BossFights and all others.
I was looking at an evil-lookin' owl doll ad spamming my Fb Feed this wknd, wondering how the resin head, hand claws, foot claws, and wings would transplant onto the BrOwlbear, scale wise. I dunno how much I'd want to risk it at $30 for the doll + another $40 for a 2nd BrOwlbear + whatever shipping for both just to find the size mismatch is too much. *le sigh*
