Oh thanks man. Believe me it was no trouble at all. I'm always happy to support lines like this. Especially when it comes to 3rd party super articulated dinosaurs. Whether its based on JP or not, lines like Beasts of the Mesozoic, Cyberzoic, and the Nanmu Studio 1/12 Smart series, toy lines like these are a rare commodity as it is, and unfortunately are too often ignored even when they are done well, so they could use all the mainstream press and long term support that they can get.Dang. Just seeing the comparison pic I can't wait for these. Thanks for promoting these figures by the way. Put in an order a few weeks ago and get my shipping notice from Lana Time a few days ago. The Amber Collection was and still is an amazing figure of a JP Raptor at 1:12 scale, but these are head and shoulders better. I feel like the Amber versions will still be better toys, but can't wait to get my basic Namu raptor in to compare.
Nah I'm just a customer and a fan of the Jurassic Park brand who's been dying to see something of this caliber since the franchise got off its feet in the early 90's. And while I'm not a religious or spiritual man in the slightest, when I saw these Raptors they looked as if they were blessed by the spirit of Stan Winston himself. I was like "Holy Shit someone finally did it....I must share it with the masses to ensure it doesn't land with a thud."And here are the Nanmu Velociraptors! Damn these turned out better than I hoped!! Huge shout out to Andy's Dinosaur Reviews for getting to take a look at some early review samples.
Those look pretty nice, I really like that Tiger Raptor. The paint apps are very nice! I might have to do some shopping.
So are you an investor, or a co-owner, or a friend of the owner or something? No shade, I just see a ton of posts from you advertising these guys so I was curious.
Having said all that though, If Nanmu requires a friend of the owner or a corporate investor.....I would like to accept the position and be paid for it lol.
Ah, cool. Well you're doing a very good job, because I may have not heard of these if it weren't for your posts and now I'm absolutely going to be stuck going in for 2 🙂 I mean, you can't have just 1 raptor, the girls are much too clever to hunt by themselves, after all!
They do look great, though. I especially enjoy how the inside corners of the mouth sort of stretch when you open their jaw...a small detail that makes me smile.
Lol I bought 14 of these lil monsters. A. I wanted to make sure I had enough raptors for both respective packs in the first and second film and there were 3 confirmed female raptors in the first movie and a mixed pack of 8 or more male tiger stripe raptors and female raptors in the second movie. So I bought 8 tigers and 6 shadows.
B. Even though there are only three females in the first movie, I also got to thinking that in extended media like video games, comic books and even the novels themselves, there are far more raptors on the island than just three, so I thought better to be safe than sorry.
C. It's my money dammit and I can do as I please.
Cancelled a pre-order I had for some Romankey not-Cyberpunk figure, on the basis that I have run out of space and really need to start being more sensible with my purchasing...
..so naturally, a few days later I order a post-apocalyptic engineer chick with a hella cool wasteland legged-motorbike thing instead. I am just a complete fool.
So BBTS just put up a pre-order for a figure by FancyRealm - Investiture of the Gods Yang Xian... it is a pretty bad ass goat warrior guy and I am finding it difficult to resist. It looks like a super fun 7.5 inch tall figure and I'm a sucker for anthropomorphic warriors.
The picture above looks like a test shot or paint test. The promo shots look much cleaner.
This is apparently based on a famous work written in China in 1600, so that's fun. I look forward to seeing what else they come up with for this line.
I think the goat is related to this thing I posted about back when:

Yup, I think that's them. The bird figure looked a little busy to me and was under six inches tall, so not for me. But this goat dude.. and I guess ostensibly that wolf guy are right up my alley.
Speaking of Gundamit, they've posted a preoder for Brotoys Light Warrior aka Tekken's Yoshimitsu as designed by Raf Grassetti. He's a designer who worked on the newer God of War games, to name a couple. The figure is based on his fanart design and I'm pretty sure they aren't paying him anything for it, as the Chinese companies like to do. Still, the figure looks really good and it's supposed to be 7" tall.

I just heard Beast Deities is closing down, most likely due to copyright stuff from their new Broly.
They'll be back with a different name. Most of those kinds of companies will "close" and another will appear in a month or two.
@drawingturtle I think I remember the raptor that you are referring to. In fact I may still have that raptor around here somewhere. that was one of the electronic raptors right? from The Lost World? or are you referring to the tiger striped looking one from the first JP line because that was also kind of tiger striped but I think that one was technically based on how the Velociraptors looked in Michael Crichton's original novel.
I was thinking of the first JP line, but now after looking up images it appears way less tiger striped than I remember. Honestly looks closer to the Shadow Blade one especially the tail. I did have the The Lost World one as well so maybe my memory is combining them a bit in my head.
I do really like the Tiger blade design. Maybe the solution is to get both?
So My raptors were scheduled to be delivered today but hit a snag yesterday when they were flagged by a CITES inspection overseas yesterday, which overseas the handling of endangered species of all things....So I'm assuming that someone at Customs took their job of monitoring for endangered species a little too seriously a little to seriously when they encountered a box full of velociraptors. But also sir I'd like to point out...these are toys....
Anyway I hate snags like this. And it probably disrupted my delivery date by a day or two. Not the worst thing in the world but come on people....do better.
That's wild, did they x-ray the box and see something lizard shaped? Even if they knew nothing was alive, they might have to take a closer look to make sure it didn't fall in the categories from their website. They have codes and permits for hunting trophies and education. The realistic look may have warranted a second look.
This is why I only import robots, Star wars figures, superheroes, and waifus.

Even if they were to use an X-Ray on the contents of the boxes, all they would be able to see is the inner joint assembly inside the plastic and that looks nothing like an actual dinosaur skeleton. Also dude, c'mon...dinosaurs are related to birds, not reptiles..... 🙄
This where we're talking about the YotoToys Mimic? I got mine in yday direct from the maker and it's sweet as all hell. More Dungeon monsters, please!
