Someone get me a look at that Cthulhu thing...
I saw a post from one of these guys on X-Twitter that had several shots of some armored pandas - painted up and looking gorgeous, but then one shot of an unpainted bear on all fours with no armor on - couldn't tell if it was intended as a mount, or was a warrior with the armor off and posed differently, but it looked amazing and I want it.

Thanks for finding it man... so the pandas are pretty and all, but that plain bear is the thing I want. I really hope they sell it more or less like that - I will find a way to buy it.

Oh, I definitely follow him on Twitter. It's always drool worthy stuff. But big cats - Tigers and Panthers/Leopards/Jaguars specifically are my major weakness. I can't resist them.
And that Cthulu type sculpt in the first image of Shinigami's last post is nightmare inducing and amazing. Probably too rich for my blood, but boy howdy does it look incredible.
Still loving that Harpy but also, there are pics of a Sylvanas prototype floating around which looks brilliant. There was a Blackhand as well, and a elf in Judgement gear.
I don't really care about any of this stuff matching specific properties/characters. I'm just loving we're getting so many collector-aimed fantasy figures. Including anthropomorphic characters and animals/monsters. Just a great time to be a collector of this stuff.
I'm heading to LACC this Friday. Looking forward to seeing what's on display at the 5ktoys booth. They had a bunch of figures from various brands out on display last year, so I'm eager to see what's there this year. And hoping to pick up some stuff. I'm counting on an angler fish guy and sabretooth tiger guy as well. Hopefully, they're actually available at the show.
Right, I definitely do not care or want more licensed or ... "licensed-adjacent" stuff, I just want some original creatures and animals and monsters. And it looks like China is willing to give it to us.
Also, all these animal people/monsters are great, and I want to see them branch out to more and more species, but I'd also love to see some of these companies take on some wild plant creature designs too. Love me some Swamp Thing, so anything to fudge into a display as an ally/enemy for him would be fun for me, sort of how I plan to use a lot of this stuff as supplemental TMNT display fodder. Though I suppose plant mutants could work for TMNT too!
Plant monsters could be neat. I've slowly been building up some plant forces from various lines. Got that large plant monster from Inhumanoids many moons ago. And have gotten various versions of MOTU and TMNT characters as well. The good thing about all the various lines is they can all work together because scale be damned...they're plants.
With all the animal/man hybrid figures, I'm surprised companies haven't tapped into dog people. We're getting big cat characters. But we haven't seen too many dog characters. With so many distinct breeds and people being huge dog lovers, I think some dog/man characters would work well. Same with some domestic cat people. I know Spero has a bulldog guy due next spring at least.
I love robots too. They should make more robots.
