I think I'm officially out on Super7 products. I picked up my green ranger to adjust his pose and his right leg broke at the hip. Not a snap or any resistance, it was as if it was made of wax. This is the first figure I've ever broken. I checked the other hip and the peg has noticeable stress marks.
I was always glass half full with their products but this quality is unacceptable.
Yep. I've had several figs from them with very crappy joints. I wish Veebs would call them out about it in one of his interviews, but he's very softball with them. I don't buy any of their stuff anymore, though I did get some of those BBTS super sales they had a year or so ago.I think I'm officially out on Super7 products. The left leg on my Goldar snapped off. It still has some semblance of a peg so I was able to thicken it with some super glue and get it back in while still having some function, but it's as fragile a joint as they come. That whole wave of Power Rangers was terrible from a quality control standpoint. Only one that isn't bad is the T-Rex. I don't know if it got any better as I wasn't impressed enough with the Green Ranger to buy any of the other ones. I just got the Dragonzord and Megazord and called it a day.
Sorry to hear its not just me. Hopefully they fix it but at this point I don't have much hope. I agree with you @tfitz it would be nice to hear the problem addressed at least.
@misfit I was able to do something similar. I can stick the remaining peg in and get it to stay well enough to keep him standing.
It's a bummer but looking at the bright side my wallet will be happy with one company out of the mix 🤣
So... Super7 is currently running a "Worst of the Worst" poll featuring their characters from their in-house line The Worst (I'm currently voting for Snake Tut, though he is losing to stupid Batula) ... and it made me realize I really wish they'd do at least one more wave of The Worst Ultimates with She-Dusa and Snake Tut. Those are two characters I would love to have in my collection as Ultimates.
I feel like Super7 may be done with Ultimates of The Worst, but those are two that I think would be really good and I want them in my 7 inch collection
LOL... because Batula is literally my least favorite character from The Worst ... I did what I could voting (a lot) to put Snake Tut in the lead last night. Apparently I made someone grumpy - because it appears they wrote a voting bot that is active today. Batula is now gaining 3 votes per second every second and has run away with the lead again in the vote. BOO stupid Batula.
So, when I went to bed last night Batula had a little over 1800 votes. Today Batula got almost 5500 votes in about 20 hours. Someone really wanted him to win...
Sigh.... so the final vote ends in 15 minutes. It ended up with Batula vs Shedusa. I did what I could. For days the vote had been tight with the margin being a dozen votes between the two either way. Then suddenly yesterday afternoon Batula suddenly burst ahead by 800 votes. So I did what I could and voted diligently because Batula is stupid and I didn't want him to win and by the time I went to bed this morning Shedusa was ahead by 200 votes. But when I woke up 4 hours later she was behind by 700 votes and counting and ended up losing by more than 1500. There is one very, very determined Batula fan out there even more insane than me.
