This makes a nice little collection for me.
Copper Kidd (and Hotwing) really do a lot to make this team look good with the diversity in colors. A lot less American Civil War ifyouknowwhatImean.
Standing all together, though, really highlights how oversized Quicksilver seems to be. I don't actually know what the accurate height of a cyborg spacebird man is, though, so who am I to say?
While I'm here, @normdapito, how'd you get the birds to stay on their arms?
This week I received the last three figures I pre-ordered: Bluegrass, Steelwill, and Mo-Lec-U-Lar. The two Silverhawks are splendid, even if the boxes seem a little empty compared to the previous ones. Bluegrass is perfect, but I find Steelwill's vac-metal paint a little too light, and I'm not a fan of his face; it's too serious for my taste. As for the villain, I regret that he doesn't have his iconic Kenner-era weapon; a real disappointment.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with this delivery, and I really hope the line continues, but I'm very doubtful.
Good news for the Silverhawks fans. Bryan Flynn just announced the line is not dead, just slowed down. We should see a new vac-metal Silverhawk at the SDCC 2025.
I am glad the line isn't dead. Not exactly overjoyed that the next reveal will be another vac metal variant.. I bought the main cast in vac metal to display "masks on"... but I don't plan to buy the secondary Hawks in the more expensive vac metal looks. Just give me the unmade Hawks and the couple of crook henchmen I need to finish the collection.
Also interested to hear they are debuting a new vac metal Silverhawk at SDCC since it seemed they weren't having a booth at SDCC this year. Maybe it will be an on-line reveal timed to coincide with the convention - or maybe they will show it off at their shop in the Gaslamp...
I would love for SDCC to include a Tiger Sharks reveal or even just hint.
According to the last rumors, Copper Kidd (cartoon version) should be the SDCC exclusive vac-metal.
Tiger Sharks are still in the pipelines, but all releases are currently slowed down or postponed.
The rumors were false. It's vac-metal Mon*Star that will be the SDCC 2025 exclusive !
