Silverhawks

I'm one Copper Kidd away from having every Silverhawk I'd ever want either in-hand or pre-ordered. No way I'm buying all the same figures again just shinier.

Really looking forward to seeing the mobsters side of the shelf fill out a bit more, though. 

I'm a sucker and pre-ordered the shiny hawks.    I figure that I will have the matte versions be maskless in my display and have the shiny versions with the fully closed face masks as the powered up versions - maybe on flight stands.    But it really makes me grumpy that I bought that damn lemonade yellow Buzzsaw figure but really, really want the green version.   I don't need two Buzzsaws  but if I had known the green version would be coming I would have waited.   I know I'll take a hefty loss on the yellow one if I try to sell him,  but I want the green one for my display.    Sigh.    Super7 problems.

I'm getting Copper Kidd whenever he comes out in the 'cartoon' colors and then never spending another dime on anything Super7 does.

LOL.... with Tiger Sharks confirmed as coming and Thundercats rolling merrily along I'm in with Super7 for awhile.   Actually actively hoping they work something out that will let them do Blackstar next.     😀

Copper Kid hasn't even been formally announced yet, has he? And he's supposed to come with some vehicle? I'm certainly looking forward to adding him (and probably Mumbo Jumbo and Molecular at least) and being done with this line.

I think it's more accurate to say Copper Kid hasn't been officially solicited yet. When the owner of the company says it's coming then I think that's official enough.

I'm not in on this line as Silverhawks is not a properly I ever got into, but I've seen these figures at my local comic shop and I think they actually look pretty damn good. I'm sure there's articulation limits and song general Super7-ness that knocks them down a notch, but the paint looked solid. I know most wanted vac metal, or at least shiny, from the start, but it seems like Super7 delivered on presenting a more animation accurate take on these characters. And now the people who wanted vac metal have a chance to add that as well. I'm also tempted to grab one of those just to see how vac metal figure made in 2023 holds up.

Here's what I would still buy from Silverhawks Ultimates if they are produced:

Condor

Vac metal Steelwill

Vac Metal other ‘Hawks?

Yes Man

Hardware

Melodia

So that's probably two to three more waves they've got me for... heck depending on execution I could probably be convinced to get  Darkbird, Rhino and the Bounty Hunter too.  Sigh.

Yes-Man, Hardware, and Melodia are literally the only other characters I want from this line, although I suppose I could be tempted by a kind of Quicksilver re-do that scales a little better with the rest of the team. (I can safely say that 'cause I know they'll never do it.)

There is a self-loathing part of me that wants to see a Skyrunner, though. It'll be way too big and pricey, but still...

Panther Cult, I will "be done" with my collection once Copper Kid is released. I haven't gotten ANY of the villains released thus far, and don't really see myself changing on that fact.

I was never a big fan of Mon*Star, and even as a kid he seemed like Mumm-Ra dressing up in ugly armor to torment new people due to no real difference in the voices.

I want all the Silverhawk stuff! I'll buy them a 3rd time if they reengineer the birds to either sit in a stand or peg into a flight stand/stick so they're flying.

Please don't give Super7 any ideas.

I only have some of the villains so far and I'm really looking forward to green Buzz Saw.  The yellow one is such a great figure despite being in the "wrong" color.

I may get some of the vac metal Hawks, but I want to see how the come out first.  I wasn't impressed with the regular versions at all...although Bluegrass came out really good.

I don't even recognize the names on your list besides Steelwill, not without looking them up. I've named what I still want, so yeah, I'll be done once I have those.

I really hope Super7 will release the second form of Mumbo-Jumbo too.

Yeah, I continue to waffle on whether or not I should cancel my pre-order and wait for a version that's how I actually visualize him.
