I'm glad Dracula lasted since I just saw it went up a little while ago.Β  I'll be very happy to complete the set!

I just found out that Meijer has started carrying NECA again and they have all the figures I haven't been able to find in Target or Walmart stores.Β  I guess they wanted to make a good impression by giving them stuff that would sell 😆Β

Finally added B&W Bride to the collection. One of my local Targets had had her hanging around for ages now, probably because the back of the box was crushed to hell. I'm an opener, so it was no biggy for me. She's really nice. Don't think I was expecting her soft goods to be that texture, but I like it- very pleasing. I also like how they implemented her unrapped bandages- they look more natural than the Mummy's.

Only missing Dracula and Wolf Man now- I'll spring for the color versions of those. Seen plenty of Dracula, but I don't think I've seen the color version of Wolfie in stores for ages now (aside from my LCS, but he's $45 there).

I want to see Lon Chaney Sr. as Quasimodo, Conrad Veidt as Gwynplaine, Bela Lugosi as Murder Legendre, and Ygor, and Dwight Frye as either Fritz/Karl or Renfield.

I feel like Ygor's going to happen because of the choice to do Leonardo as him... But also because they had said they were doing more with the Lugosi likeness rights.Β  Seems like just a matter of when they'll announce any new stuff.

I was thinking the same about Quasimodo.

The second Horror Loot Crate for this month started with the Burger King Dracula.Β  Looks to have a newly sculpted head to closer match that generic vampire face the original figure had.

I love that Horror Loot Crate Dracula figure. In general, I like the idea of a Dracula head that approximates the images used in licensing in the 80's and 90's. I have the Bela figure and adore it, but - at least in my opinion - there is a place for both. This is especially appealing because I have such fond memories of collecting those Burger King toys in the late nineties.Β

Unfortunately, I will not have the money to get this by the time the preorder window expires. Is there any website that buys these and then sells them for an upcharge at the time of release? I really need to get this particular figure at some point.Β

Also, has anyone seen any customizers online making red lined Dracula capes for the NECA figures? I would love to grab one for mine eventually. Despite its film accuracy, the plain black just feels flat to me.Β

Do you think that we'll get as great a variety as what Sideshow Collectibles did, when they made their 12" Universal Monsters line, between 1998-2000 ish?

I just watched The Last Voyage of the Demeter, and since it's Universal, I want that Dracula pretty badly.

Seconded! I’d go for β€œstandard”, β€œbat form” and β€œfinal knock” Dracula from TLVotD. It’s a shame this film got buried by the strike and poor marketing: it’s an absolute gem and one of the VERY few films that has gotten the β€œfeel” of the novel right. Definitely one of the absolute best Dracula films of all time.

@aceofknaves completely agree! I'd actually love having the first version (more Nosferatu-esque), second (bat form) and the third version (England, suited)...but I'd be happy with any of them.

I'll add to the chorus of folks wanting a Last Voyage of the Demeter Dracula. I'd love if they did all three of his forms from the film.

Count me in for a Demeter Drac too. I love that bat/human hybrid look.

Was able to finish up my Universal Monsters display yesterday. My LCS had 40% off everything for Small Business Saturday, so I finally grabbed color Wolfman and Dracula (who's a christmas present, so i'll have to wait on him). Still the only time I've seen color Wolfman in ages, and I'm glad I went right for him, as another guy there saw me with it and asked if it was the only one. Who knew he was such a sought after figure? I'm sure now that I have him, I'll start seeing him pop up everywhere, but still.

Now I just gotta start tracking down those accessory sets! Any ideas for a little forest display for Wolfie? I thought about maybe using the base from the McFarlane Headless Horseman, but then ol' Horsie wouldn't have anywhere to stand, unless I get another one.
