@justice  I totally get what you're saying -  and I had a very similar reaction to Cosmic Legions (and a lot of Mythic Legions too, frankly)

With Monster Force and Crimson Moon there's a bit of a different hook for me though.   Some of the figures  -  the Forgotten King and Dracula -  will work great in a Marvel Legends display.   I don't have a good classic Legends Dracula so for now, my MF Dracula is going to be standing in fending off Blade and next to Lilith and Bloodstorm.   The Forgotten King is going to slide in next to Moon Knight for now.

if you have an Invaders display, Dr Caligari would work well as a stand in for Brain Drain.  That way Red Skull isn’t all by his lonesome.

Just watched Robo's review and I did realize the villain troop builders came with Red Shadows heads. I didn't think we were getting them until the Crimson Moon stuff shipped. I may have to get a couple now....

Yeah, wasn’t planning on getting these but Robo fully sold me too. I just ordered the full first wave.

Yeah... I hadn't preordered any until after the Crimson Moon reveal... then went back and added a few.

Looks like BBTS has them arriving in early October. They've been on the water for a couple of weeks now I believe so that times up right.

Gets them hitting in a month that's not Rattler and Stinger filled for Joe fans.

Robo’s review was so thorough, honest, well shot, and fun. You don’t get all of those with most toy reviews these days. He doesn’t try to push any agenda, just shows the toys for what they are, the options you have, and just how much fun they are. The comparisons were great. I was on the fence about getting them all but after the review decided to keep my order for the full set.

Dunno if anybody has noticed, but one of the last days of BBTS 25th anniversary sales looks like it might be a BBTS colorway of one of the troopers. At least that's my assumption given the Mythic Legions reveal. A red/black/white version might just be what gets me to pick one up.

I could be into that - depending on how it turns out.    I'm trying to be careful and not go back an order too many of the troopers now before they even release.    Seeing pictures of them looking like Red Shadows troopers gets me over eager and I keep wanting to pre-order another one.

I'm trying to show some restraint - get a couple in hand before I go ordering more.

@panthercult Yeah they look real good. This silhouette looks to be one of the modern vampire soldier dudes, but I feel like I'm more likely to pick up a one-off in a special color because otherwise I've been real good at not preordering this line yet (despite a strong desire to). I can't go nuts with these, not enough space in my home, but it's hard to stay strong. Maybe if I just get one the craving will go away...

@jakeekiss, something about the hips makes me think it's for their 1:18 scale Eagle Force line.

@fletch Possible, I don't keep track of the 1/18 stuff, have they shown Monster Force sculpts in that line before? If not I think the 1/12 is more likely simply because they're about to be released anyway and the sculpts are new and ready to roll out variants.

Actually looking at the other silhouettes, is that a FMF Santa variant on Oct 21st? Looks like it might be the long tunic with the hood from Winter is Here Santa...

@jakeekiss, you're probably right. It might be the bulk of the vest giving the legs that spindly 3 3/4 look.

But they are introducing Monster Force to their Eagle Force line.

Don't do that to me. Don't make me want to get it. There are a few from this line I am eyeballing because I can at least blend them in with Classified, but if I get that sick ass Werewolf, I would be all in and I can't do that. I don't have the space. But it sooo awesome looking. Are we like crazy cat ladies, but instead of cats we attached out love and compassion to action figures so we feel guilty if we don't buy?

Oh and this guy got listed.  I'm waiting on the other multi-colored soldiers to show up that they showed off a while ago.  Power Ranger tactical squad is a go.
