MIB now....cool.
The more and more I see, the more I wanna get some pre-orders in, but I gotta control myself.
I really am going to have to think about how much of this line I want. There's a ton of cool stuff in there, I definitely want something from it, but the specifics are hard. Like, do I stick to "normal" folks I can put in any display like the general and the agents? Or do I go for the more flagrant monster guys? Hard call.
This suited body and the accessory pack look awesome. But it's just a lot of money to pay for what is essentially a background character/army builder.
I think this line looks super cool, and there's some figure designs that really interest me. But also I'm definitely getting 'reveal fatigue' at this point. Like... just make a toy. I'm at the max level of excitement I can possibly muster for a line where I just don't know what the actual quality is going to be. I need them to actually MAKE something, and until they do every new reveal is kind've just 'okay.. whatever.' And I don't want to feel that way because I like getting excited about new toy reveals. It's just that there's so much unreleased product at this point for a line that doesn't even physically exist yet.
Reveal fatigue is a great way to phrase it. Especially as each new reveal is more mundane than the last.
@theknightdamien I feel you on that. I feel like the Santa line gives us some idea, so I'm not assuming the rest of this will be a dud, but yeah, lot of reveals. Once I realized how far out the new ones are I thought "ok, so basically this actually two-three waves, I'm just seeing them all waaaay in advance".
@marvellegendsman You're not wrong, though I feel for MIB, I only ever need 2. And I just don't think I'll get the generalized G-man for a price point below this since it will inevitably come from a smaller more boutique company.
Still on the fence about this one. Pretty plain suited figure for a pricey $37.
Accessory pack is cool though.

Is it, though? I'm one of the MFers biggest boosters, but this seems like a misfire. An army builder that you have to buy an add-on for to make it an army builder?
Gen. Brown comes with 4 alternate heads and 8 pairs of hands. The same approach here would give an agent body, 2 choices of human heads, 2 choices of goul heads, and enough hands for everybody even if you did have two different skin tones for the human parts.
In exchange you lose the rifle, which doesn't seem very agent-like to me anyways.
I wasn't going to buy the accessory pack before I saw the photos of the heads and hands on other MF figures. That sold me.
@fletch I was thinking more in line of the accessory pack as a generic add-on to other characters. the agent in itself is not worth it and I would agree with what you're referring to as a misfire. if the accessory pack was included in the agent offering then it would be more appealing to pre/purchase.
@ajax Yeah the agent need at least one additional human head. Especially since the agent heads are just repaints anyway.
I think I'm going to cancel my preorders until I see actual figures and reviews. I was hoping they would be a little taller or the heights a little different between monsters and the humans. I was mostly going off their Naughty or Nice line which is around 6.5 inches for their Santa and Krampus. I really don't care for Dracula and or Donner Party being the same height as Snake Eyes.
I've only half been paying attention to this line but the designs are eye-catching and I am interested. Has anything shipped yet, or is it all in preorder stage?
