NECA Nightmare Before Christmas

All four of this wave have been going in and out of stock on Target's site for days.  If something's not there now, don't necessarily stop checking!

@danman Super7's line was DOA (they also don't have the Disney license anymore...at least for Ultimates?), Diamond might be able to do theirs since they're not sold in the same place as NECA typically. Or whatever loophole is going on.  But yes, licensing is very weird.

I'm tempted to grab another Jack because of how many options there are with that head swap.  Plus if we get Oogie Boogie, I need him to harass Boogie.

Picked up Jack at Target on my lunch break. Love all of his accessories, and he feels MUCH sturdier than either the Diamond figure, or the older NECA offerings. Only bummer is mine seems to be missing his stand...don't know if it wasn't included, or if I somehow lost it when I unpacked him (I've looked everywhere though....even in the damned bag I brought him back to the office in). Not the end of the world, as I'm sure I have an older stand from one of the old NECA Jacks in a bin somewhere, but dang...I was looking forward to posing him on my desk this afternoon!

I grabbed the new Jack at Target as well, and I LOVE all the extra heads.

Zero took a bit of heat to get on his stand, but he looks great with Jack.

Picked up Jack as well and he's great. Debating whether I should get Sally. Also despite all the heads, I went with the default in my display

@miraclemen After I found his stand (which had fallen into the backseat of my car, somehow...in a spot I checked at least six times!), I put Jack on my desk at work. I've been changing out his heads every day, which has been fun. I changed out his hands once...but I felt like I might break the wrist peg, even after heating them up, so I've left those alone. 

I usually do a big Halloweentown display with my NBXM figures for September & October at my house. This year, I'm thinking I will be changing out Jack's expression daily then as well. I love that he has so many options! I may very well do the same with Sally when I get her.

I was so sure I was all set on Nightmare Before Christmas figures, but seeing Ultimate Jack at Target today, I am very tempted. He looks real good, and I love all these alternate heads...

Nice seeing all the love here. I've been messing with these guys pretty regularly since getting them a month or so ago, and I agree with all the praise- they're really nice. I swap out the heads a lot more often than the hands- like some have said, they're the part that arguably feels the most fragile on mine. It's still crazy that it took us this long to even get NBX figures with swappable heads (I think some larger scale figures, or maybe some import figures may have had them in the past, but not mass market releases that I know of). I get why- sculpting only a new head is an easy way to re-release a figure and make more money, but the whole movie was made by swapping heads/face plates, so it feels like it's in the DNA of the franchise. Almost any nitpick I have is more down to the designs of the characters themselves being hard to translate, so I realize NECA's hands were tied in some regards, but they did the best they could with accuracy vs. stability. Even if we don't get any more NBX Ultimates, I'm really quite happy with what we got!
