I noticed the dashboard too. It gives it too much of a The Santa Clause vibe for me. I'd prefer something more traditional, but maybe you're onto something and it will be interchangeable. Even something that pops out and the reverse side is just blank would probably work. It just all depends on how they planned to assemble it that would determine if such a thing would even add any cost to the process.

The modern dashboard isn't great but I can live with it, nevertheless it would be nice if they could allow a swap. There are hooks on the side of the sleigh to hold lanterns it looks like, maybe those could pop out for other things to plug in.

A sleigh accessory set with things like a "classic" dashboard, or a pirate ship steering wheel, and weapons to plug into the side where the lanterns are or a gun rack for the back seems like a decent idea to match some of the past Santas.

I love the idea of the kids in this line mainly because I've long wanted a collection of traumatized kids to fit into various 1/12th lines. Doctor Octopus threatening Spider-man with a volley of living kid-missiles is a compelling enough reason.  

Nothing says holiday cheer than discussing whether the best use of crying kid action figures is to put them in cages with a Krampus terrorizing them, or harnessed to the sleigh like a dog team, or as human missiles from a supervillain.

The very fact there is even an option to have crying kid action figures is the pinnacle of good tidings and joy I suppose.

Say... what's this chase mystery gift with the kids???

Extra limbs or head portraits may be a bit odd if they come in the mystery box.

Happy kids in PJs is a nice figure to use for pics. So it doesn’t have to be all crying.

To me the kids looking like they have five o’clock shadows is creepy.

Honestly that would be amazing if it was a fifth genre head. Gruesome, but amazing. I would think it'd be better for that head to be visible instead of a mystery though as it'd be a great selling point. 

@jakeekiss They've had a few classic toys like a teddy bear, a small rocking horse and a wooden toy train engine as accessories here and there, I am guessing it will be more along those lines, and packed in the "present" accessory so you won't know what you get until you open it.

Are the kids supposed to be this creepy or am I missing something here?

@secondwhiteline I don't think they're supposed to be, and it's hard to tell if it's just a factor of the renders or not. Thus far the figures have been beautiful though, so I'm willing to give a little faith.

Ordered a sleigh. Looks like they’re over halfway to their minimum number, which I’m surprised about. 

But also wanted to share my set up for the season 

One the reindeer arrive I might need to kick off the bottles of booze on the other side of the shelf. Especially if I get more to go with the eventual sleigh. 

So over on Instagram I saw a comment from FMF replying to someone asking if Mrs. Claus was coming next year. Their reply "very much so if not sooner". 

I wonder if she wasn't supposed to be in this lot and didn't quite get finished in time. Perhaps she'll come in towards the end of the month? Either way, confirmation that she's next on deck for those wondering. In a different comment they indicate Frosty and such are probably further away.

@jakeekiss Interesting, this assortment makes a lot more sense if they expected to have Mrs Claus ready. 

I almost wonder if they are going to announce her after the crowdfund/pre-orders end. Maybe they were confident enough she will sell to just skip the pre-order phase, but weren't sure about the other offerings, like the centaurs or kids. 

@fac I think a few things might not have been finished in time for this one. The Santa silhouette from the BBTS anniversary in October got removed before being revealed and it definitely isn't one of the ones we're seeing now as it had the Winter is Here hood on the standard Santa silhouette. I feel like there's a couple more things in the wings than we've seen yet.

Oh, another post all but confirmed the kid bodies will be reused for elves as well, which I assumed was coming. I almost want to take that as confirmation of alt elf heads as the chase gift coming with the kids.
