Going to be a long wait til Tuesday for these to arrive.
Love that the cookies are new (last wave was chocolate chip) as is the chocolate milk! That's the sort of detail I appreciate...
I plan to match Checking it Twice with Mall Santa (who I think will get the baseball bats), hopefully in what will look like a back alley, with some of the new bearded elves.
I think Mall Santa is going to be passed out under the tree in my display. I kind of wish he came with an unconscious portrait to really sell it.
Package arrived early! Working my way through the Santas. I think they all came out great!
The cloth cape that comes with Barbarian Santa works well - I may have the Nasty Krampus wear it instead though. The translucent blue head with Father Frost is great.
Tommy the Elf's coloring in the pics leaned a bit more to an orangey-red, but he has more traditional red, which I am happy about. Liking the new elf heads and the different hair/eye colors to mix and match on the elves.
Lots of nice little touches - the coffee mugs for instance hold the "liquid" that came with the milk glasses, so the black liquid that came with a couple of last year's Naughty figures works as coffee in the mugs. The "pancakes" that come with Great Northern Santa are the same size as the cookies so fit in as another cookie variety. The silver ribboned gift that came with Barbarian Santa works nicely with Cyborg Santa (keeping in the chrome/metal theme).
An eyes closed, mouth partly open head for Mall Santa would have been nice, either passed out or chugging his Whiskey...
Father Frost and Mall Santa arrived yesterday. Some thoughts...
Obviously, these are all on the same buck we're used to so they have all of the good and bad the other Santa figures have. Looks like the ankle hinges and such are all cast in the proper colors so that's a plus. Paint is good in places, not so good in other places. Mall Santa's black eye is very understated and could have used more paint. His suit is a darker red with a liberal amount of wash applied to make it grimy and gross. I wish his false beard had been sculpted to look a little more pathetic like with obvious ear hooks and maybe a gap between his chin and beard or something. He's hurt a little by the reuse aspect of the line since his head sits very low and I think he would have benefitted from a slimmer profile. He's also light on accessories, but the whiskey bottle definitely goes a long way. I might swap out the gloved hands for ungloved.
Father Frost is a bit cleaner. Only paint imperfection worth pointing out is the hem of his robe isn't painted all the way to the edge on the bottom. It's worse on the back, but at least it's on the back. His blues have a touch more yellow than the promo shots and the box art do. I personally would have preferred a darker blue more like the box shot or even a powder blue. The translucent bonus head is neat, but a little tricky to work with. You have to get it seated pretty low to hide the neck or else it looks kind of weird. I had to use heat to get the head to fit snug. The staff is a nice accessory and I like that he comes with two sets of ungloved hands since I'll probably give them to Mall Santa. I mostly got this one because the all blue attire will help set him apart on my Christmas shelf and it gets the job done.
Getting close - 5 days left on the pre-order minimums to be met.
Wizard, Storytime and Francis the Elf added to the Unlock list for Wave 3.
Only Red Krampus at 477, Winter is Here at 482 are still not funded, but given neither of those have any unique parts, I would be shocked if they didn't produce them at this point - even if they don't get to 500 officially.
1:18 Scale isn't going to make it, only 40% there.
Final update, Red Krampus and Winter is Here unlocked! So the entire 1:12 scale Wave 3 offerings will be made.
Got a bit of a mixed order in from BBTS including Canadian Santa and this werewolf. Almost feels like they can kind of go together
@boy_wonder Kinda feel sorry for that werewolf! Looks like Santa has made quick work of him!
Hi, anyone can sell classic Nutcracker, accessory set and pirate santa?
Hello, everyone (or anyone). Years ago, I bought a Royal Frozen Sleigh to repaint and use in my Santa display, but I never got around to it. Have any of you repainted one of these before? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
Looks like it’s going to come down to the wire on a Christmas delivery again for wave 3. I love this line, but I can’t help feel like maybe they should open preorders just a tiny bit earlier to try and prioritize getting these out before December 25 every year. It’s a little anticlimactic when they arrive in January and it feels like you have to wait 11 months to *really* enjoy them.
We’ll be seeing a sleigh here soon. They’re working out how to do the reigns for the reindeer to hopefully be modular so folks can arrange however many reindeer they have. Still sounds like no plans for Mrs. Claus for now.
I got a promotion of sorts in the past year and now I’m contemplating if I get more reindeer on top of the two I already ordered. A full team of 9 seems like a lot of cash to drop, but man would it look cool…

Not only that, but Santa probably wasn't happy doing it. But you can't have creatures of the night lurking on the innocent boys and girls. "Sorry Mr. Wolf, gotta take you out. Ho Ho Ho bitch"

Have they posted that somewhere about the reigns? And about Mrs Claus?
The full teams is a lot of cash and also is going to need a long shelf to display, but I went in for the full team - although I am considering building a barn (or finding a barn playset) as a diorama.
