I suppose that's possible, but I think someone just messed up the date. I don't mind the wait as I get to hang onto my money a little longer if I want to go through Mondo. I'm still waiting on their Spider-Man I ordered through EE and that thing shipped almost two months ago for those who bought through Mondo. For these pricier items I actually prefer not having that axe hanging over my head wondering when my wallet gets whacked.

Mondo does tend to ship directly from China in my past experiences with them.

Yeah, it's DHL from the factory. I'm sure BBTS and others have to wait for a container. Also not sure if they shipped the limited versions of Spidey first and haven't shipped the standard yet. I'm not worried about it not coming, just more would like to get the 200 dollar payment out of the way. Especially since I'm going to owe the tax man some money in April.

Edit:  and I just looked at Mondo's website and it looks like the standard version isn't expected to ship until later this month, so that explains that.

That Boogeyman is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen made out of plastic and I'm going to go ahead and call it figure of the year under two conditions:

1. It actually comes out in 2025

2. It doesn't disintegrate in my hand

Those pics... so amazing! I'm gonna hold off as long as possible to get a discount like the last set.

SO the 1/12 scale Mondo Ghostbusters could be my new line to collect. That Egon pack is awesome but that price is steep, even more expensive than Mezco, sheesh.

It's been basically assumed since the beginning that the price was a mandate from Hasbro in order for Mondo to tread on their master toy license.  Not ideal by nearly an order of magnitude, for sure, but right now I'm taking the smallest possible win that I can eke out: when they delayed the announcement last week I was afraid they were either going to up the price or start charging shipping with this release on account of the tariffs.

I'm content with just Egon and the little blue ghost.  Boogeyman looks spot on, but that was also the only ghost from the cartoon that really weirded me out as a kid.  Like a ghoul looking version of Prince, for some reason that's how I saw it.  I hope we get a heads pack for the busters as neither of Egon's or Peter's heads really wow-ed me on emotional range.  I think I'd just like more variety in possible heads for that price.  But as I'm only getting the 4 busters and possibly Janine, I'm swallowing the pill to cross the animated Busters off my list forever.

@cmoney Yeah, they really have to dance around the reason for the pricing when Attack Peter has been on like, Toy Anxiety or whatever talking about it, but that seems to be what it hints at. And why it's literally a dollar over $100...

And now I kinda want a guitar for him. 😎

I have Peter solo POed, and will likely order Egon solo as well. But that Boogey Man... Very tempting.

Price is what it is. I think we've all litigated that thoroughly. The actual price seems like a mandate, but it's fair to suggest they could have stuffed more in the box to make it feel worthwhile.

That said, Egon for me. Boogeyman looks great, but he's also creepy and I don't know if I really want that in my house. Plus I hate the top-heavy figure with hooves for feet setup. They're never any fun to pose. If Mondo offers free shipping for Egon I may buy through them. If not, I'll go through BBTS.

I'm really tempted to get the two-pack because, like other folks here, the Boogeyman terrified me as a kid. He's the only ghost I really remember from the show. I just wish I could pay when it ships, like bbts does, instead of upfront. Fortunately, I have a few weeks to think about it. I'm also worried the Boogeyman figure will terrifying my young kids.
