Is Mondo a pay upfront direct operation or can their stuff be preordered through BBTS?
Even better (worse?), they were talking with the folks of Toy Anxiety and were heavily teasing that they're doing the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
My wallet is already getting a noose ready.

On their website, I'm not sure about paying up front, but I do believe there's a pay-over-time option? But the big point is that the ghosts are exclusive to their site. Mondo is selling the 'busters with ghosts (Sandman, Boogeyman, etc.) as two-packs, whereas retailers like BBTS will only be selling the 'busters themselves single-packed.
They DID say pre-orders open "in the coming weeks."
So I'm guessing around Halloween time. It's good to finally clearer idea of when to expect the first one.
And that VERY cool to hear about Janine and possibly Stay Puft? If they DO get around to him, I could see him being the one ghost I get.

At this point, I just want that first set to go up. I've been waiting for it to drop while getting nailed with a bunch of other life expenses so having it hanging over my head has been somewhat anxiety-inducing. Plus, they announced their Venom goes up next week which I've been on the fence with and that's probably going to be around $250. I think with this line I'm in for Peter and Samhain and then just the individual Ghostbusters. I'll definitely consider Stay Puft who I'm assuming will basically be like one of their 1/6 offerings. I'm hoping the little ghosts come with the single 'busters, but if not I won't sweat it. I only really need Slimer and he's coming with Venkman.
Same here. Whenever I try to keep money on hand for these, life happens and I have to dip into it or something ELSE will get announced, which hasn't been good for my anxiety, either.
So at this point, I just want to have it paid for so I can get that part out of the way.

Supposedly there's a payment plan but any X-Men stuff I ordered from Mondo it's always you get charged on the day you preorder like McFarlane Toy Store does.
I'll probably do the 2pk for Peter and MAYBE Egon, the other 2pks don't really interest me much beyond the busters and whatever little ghosts they come with.
Considering it's Samhain, I had been assuming a Halloween preorder so let's go and get it over with.
And yes, Mondo lets you use Shop Pay (and maybe Affirm) if you don't want to pay all at once. You can break it up into 4 payments with each payment separated by 2 weeks. You can also go longer, but you will incur interest if you do. Basically, if you're using a credit card with a traditional billing cycle you're cutting the payment in half and spreading it across 2 payments. And shipping is free, so the total cost should be $202 plus any applicable sales tax for where you live. If you live outside North America then shipping is not free and I have no idea what the cost is.
This line is like a monkey's paw wish come true. Great sculpt, great paint, amazing accessories, ghosts both large and small, but at an obscene price.

The bundle set is going to be open until November 26 so a lot of time to get an order in. It's timed, not limited, which I think most expected, but it's nice to see confirmed. Delivery is expected in May so next year's Halloween display should at least include two of the Ghostbusters, I would think.

So this isn't a limited thing, as long as I get in my order before November 26th. That is awesome. It seems like they are trying to make sure everyone who wants these can get them, despite the price that we now know is part of their license deal. I'm in for all 4 Ghostbusters, Janine, and whichever the 5 ghosts are that come with them. Where it will most likely get sketchy for me is if they start doing variants. I can't think of any ghosts from the show that would be must-haves enough for me to jump in on variants. Boogeyman and Samhain would be the only ones and they are already coming with Egon and Peter.
