The ghosts are pretty big, and with NECA stuff already closing in on $40 per, I figure Mondo's gonna do at least that.

I've never watched the Ghostbusters cartoon, so these shouldn't have had my interest. But good looking toys tend to pique my interest. So I watched the 2 episodes with these 2 baddies on Youtube. And now I need these.

I feel like Sandman's a given, and I would think Grundel is pretty likely too, though I could see Wat at the outside (woulda made more sense with Peter though, maybe?).

Those headsculpts are amazing.
I missed out on the DST Real Ghostbusters, but these seem like they'll be fairly expensive knowing Mondo and what with the main ghosts being larger and likely contributing to more of the cost. Hoping for only $60-$80 bucks a set and that these don't go like most Mondo stuff and sell out immediately.
Happy to see them doing 1/12th stuff though.

An absolute dream line and they look better than I ever could’ve hoped. I, like everyone, wish I could just get the busters individually, but I’m kind of happy I’m being forced to get the ghosts. They look amazing and they’re picking the coolest ones. I don’t really like what they’ll do to my wallet, but I will be happy to have them all.
I’m glad I never got the DST ones because, from the renders alone, these look SO SO much better.
They did announce that the 2 packs are exclusive to Mondo, but that they'll be releasing the busters single packed, with all their accessories and the small ghost! That's perfect for me since I just don't really need the big ghosts, plus maybe this way I can actually get all four GBs.
These look pretty much perfect. Face paint apps look slightly off in the photos, specially Egon, but maybe that's just the lightning. The proton packs look fantastic, plus the proton stream looks just like the cartoon! Wish they cast it in fully translucent plastic instead of frosted, but we'll see.
I also need Janine. She could come with a different Slimer too. Her desk and chair are a must.
Maybe the Ray 2 pack could come with the terror dog? It did appear a few times on the cartoon, with a pretty cool redesign.
Oh god, I did see the exclusive angle in the slides, but I hadn't even considered the idea that they might be yet another on-the-minute-or-you'll-miss-it situation. I DON'T NEED THIS KIND OF HASSLE, MONDO! Because I absolutely need the ghosts, they're what set this line apart from basically every other GB line attempted in the last 15 years. I want as many ghosts as they can possibly make!
I'm bracing for as high as $120 on the two-packs. Lot of unique tooling for the ghosts and that Boogeyman is pretty damn big. Mondo isn't cheap. I might be in for just the single-packed Ghostbusters if that's how they're doing it, or maybe a mix and match kind of deal. I'd love Samhain, at least. I bet they do a big, vinyl Stay Puft at some point too that kind of, sort of, scales. This is awesome though. I loved this toyline back in the day and I've been waiting for a worthy successor. The DST ones just didn't do it for me.
My two biggest frustrations with the DST Ghostbusters that I really hope these correct are the rounded foot bottoms that don't allow for reliable standing at all and the infuriating proton streams that won't stay on and if they do they sag because the neutrona wands can't keep it up. Mine are currently glued to acrylic stands and have their grasping hands holding the tips of the wands with the proton stream also in their hand to make it look like they are attached. I really can't wait for those to not be my display Real Ghostbusters.
Yeah, it's saying that the 2-packs will be timed releases while the solo offerings should be more widely available.
Good thing as I really just want the core team.
