Awesome haha! And sorry but honestly I think we find a way to pay. You will be happy I bet - LC said the Wolves and Hyde are the standard for paint and such.

And it's not like "Damn I always wanted Bloodstrike on my shelf" I wanted Youngblood too but I am telling you there is stuff there to be made that is practically equal. As it turns out there is a big guy Greylore who is pretty much Badrock and Shogun is a big armored dude etc.

I think it's worth it and Prophet alone is badass enough to go in for. Maybe my hype can actually be positive after all 🙂 

Liefeld’s Image stuff did nothing for me. I was pretty much solely into WildCATs, and eventually the books that would become WildStorm (Gen13, StormWatch, Authority). If a company were to go in on that license, I’d be all about it. I know McF is sprinkling some in like Grifter and Midnighter so far, but they’re not great and still very sparse. And I would rather have them as 6” figures.

No thanks on these figures. I love what LC has been doing, I have Red Sonja, Vampirella, Shi, Rocketeer and Bettie. I’d love to see more stuff like John Carter of Mars and Dejah Thoris. Bring in Hellboy and Savage Dragon.

These can’t possibly be modeled after Liefeld’s characters. They gave feet.  
Seriously though, the price tag is far too much for a Cable and Wildside knock offs.  

Liefeld is aggressively not my thing, but if this pleases some folks and helps the company grow and produce more rad horror stuff like The Crypt series and cool stuff like The Rocketeer, I’m all for it. I don’t generally expect an individual toy company to make things i particularly want and ONLY things I particularly want.

Why not?  I do.  I have exceptionally good taste!

@aceofknaves heard, chef! I'm also 10000% uninterested in anything from Liefeld, but hey, glad for those that are getting them. I am interested in how these turn out though, because I'm hoping the LC final products show some improvement before I back any more. Taarna was disgraceful, and even Red Sonja/Vampirella were a downgrade from the promo pics.

Aren't the figures in promo pics hand painted? I don't have super lofty expectations when it comes to super small companies making niche figures at a low run. I do have expectations for figures that I'm asked to spend $75 each on. And to me, these are still worth it, since they feel sturdy and pose well. I haven't experienced any QC issues on any figures I've gotten so far, and have felt improvements in plastic quality and/or tightness of joints on the latest set, Rocketeer and Bettie. It's not like Super7, a bigger company that refuses to improve but continues to charge more and more for mediocrity.

I have questions about Vampirella. Is she good in person? She looks nice but the paint can vary. Is that the case with her? I'm also wondering how tight the joints are. Does she hold poses well? Does she shelf dive alot? Is the black outfit exclusive any different the the red regular one? Or is it just the color. And how tall is she compared to Hasbro figures?

Also, any chance Lady Death will be rereleased as well? And was she any good? Basically same questions as Vampirella. In fact I wouldn't mind knowing more about the Red Sonja figure even though I have the HACKS one preordered. And odds of a Witchblade being done?

She holds her poses well, tight joints. the diff with the black outfit is just the color but its the same bikini. I believe i posted a pic with her height, tape measured. i usually do that. Its a quality figure for sure, i have the black bikini version. high quality plastic.

I scrolled through the thread and I didn't see it. But I did see the ones where she's beside Shi and then Shi is beside a couple ML figures. Would she ever go on sale? She looks good, but pricey.

I have Lady Death, Hellwitch, Vampirella (Red), Red Sonja, Pugatori and Critter and I would say they all have pretty decent paint apps (YMMV on the faces as they don't utilize digital or Photo Real technology that has become the standard for Marvel Legends) and the articulation points all functions well and are fairly stiff as all the points are pinless. In regard to shelf-diving, they are all female figures in heels, two with capes and two with massive wings. It'll take some balancing to get them right, but they can generally hold the pose.

I like them all and look forward to Chaotica, La Muerta, and Lady Satanus.

I ended up ordering the purple Lady Death from the Coffin Comics online store. They still had red and purple and the purple looked better imo. If I can't have the black, I decided to take what I could get at a reasonable price. Now that I ordered this one, they'll rerelease the black suit just to spite me. It may take a bit to get here though, cause they are a smaller company and shipping things out takes time, so says their website anyway lol.

I also ordered black suit Vampirella from BBTS. She's in my PoL right now with a bunch of other stuff. I'm just waiting on 1 more thing to drop which should be pretty soon and then I'll ship it. I chose the black outfit cause I like the way it looks better then the red, and it's an exclusive so that was a bonus. I'd order Red Sonja too, but I have the HACKS one preordered and I like the way it looks slightly better, not to mention it's cheaper. So I'll pop her in with these 2 when she comes out, and hopefully she doesn't look out of place.

I'm guessing the HACKS Sonja is going to be at least a quarter of an inch shorter than LC's version  -  that's a guess of course,  I don't have both in hand.... but I did order both.   I put my LC figure in with my 1/10 figures and am hoping to put my HACKS Sonja in with my Legends display (fingers crossed).

I'm ok with her being a little shorter. As long as they're not 2 different scales. Plus, both LD and Vamp have heels, so that'll add some height. The HACKS one just looks so good. The LC one looks good too. But something about the HACKS gives it an edge. Not sure what honestly, but its there. I think it may be the cloths? LCs are sculpted on, which is fine, but the HACKS one looks like it's a seperate piece which adds some realism. And I do like that it has more weapons.
