Where are you finding wave 2 5”? EE is sold out of Krusty, and only offering a case of 6. Amazon also sold out and walmart is scalping.

according to Entertainment Earth, we ought to be seeing wave 2 in the near future. bummer that Homer is exactly the same as the last one though.

I haven't seen any in stores if that is your question. though I assume they will be in stores soon if they are on sale online

if anybody is finding these in stores, post some photos!

Saw Scratchy at Target the other day, but no Itchy to go along with him, so I left him. They had all the new 5 inch figures except Krusty, who I would've grabbed. The more video reviews I see, the more tempted I become to pick up some of these figures- there's just too darn many memorable Simpsons characters. Wish we had a better idea on what characters are in the next few waves of each scale; I'm still not sure which direction to go down. Still, it feels kinda crazy in this day and age to be able to get a figure for as cheap as these are, so I don't feel too nervous about wasting money if one of the scales doesn't work out.

I got Moe and Krusty in from Amazon, still on the hunt for Lisa, and they seem like an improvement over wave one. Both figures actually have ankle rockers. They're not great ankle rockers or anything, but it's nice to see Jakks is possibly listening to the feedback out there. Moe is pretty great since that dead eye stare works well for him. With Krusty, my feeling is I wish he had a more expressive portrait especially since his accessory is a microphone. Images of said mic also showed it to be more of a chrome or silver, but it and the stand is just a dull gray which is a minor bummer. Also, my Krusty's knees are super tight. I'm going to have to have give him a hot water bath before I'm comfortable forcing the issue there. His pupils are also slightly above center on his eyes so he's kind of looking up which is weird and may just be a thing with my figure since we know the pupils could get pretty wonky with the wave one figures. Something to be mindful of, I suppose.

I also started opening the Simpsons advent calendar over the weekend. There's lots of tiny figures in it that aren't even in scale with the 2" line. It did feature Maggie in her snow suit for the first day and that actually scales pretty well. There are some bigger figures to come, but they'll have to wait. My children keep me honest.

Finally dove in to the line and picked up Moe and Krusty at Target yesterday, mostly because I was just so surprised to actually see them on the pegs. They had Homer and Lisa, but I left them for now. They had the new 2" Bart as well, but not the rest of the wave. So far with those, I'm just on the hunt for Itchy and Scratchy.

A question for the folks who have both- I know some have said that the 2" kids scale a bit better with the 5" adults, but how do the pets scale? Just because I think our likelihood of getting Snowball II and Santa's Little Helper in the larger line isn't quite as great. Do they look even somewhat natural, or are they under-scaled?

Homer at the Bat is one of my all-time favorite episodes so I'm definitely going to need that Homer. And Marge and Maggie is sorely needed and I suppose I'll get Thrillhouse Milhouse. And it's not like anyone is going to pass on Lenny, so yup, I'm in for this wave. Not collecting the 2.5" ones though except for Itchy and Scratchy (just need to find Scratchy). Looks like they're doing Ralph's hair like Super7 did which looked pretty terrible. I hope they do something different for the eventual 5" scale.

Thrillhouse! I'm excited. Definitely going to need a jungle gym and a sad vaporwave backdrop for this one.

Oh heck yeah! Grandpa, Ralph, Milhouse, and Comic Book Guy are some of my favorite side characters, so I'll definitely be snagging those. Moe and Willie aside, I think the 2.5 inch line is slightly winning out so far, at least in terms of character selection. Still have yet to find most of the new wave, but I may have to go back and start getting the family, Ned, and Wiggum.

I'd have hoped for a slightly heavier hitter than Lenny in the 5 inch figures, to be honest. I like Lenny, of course, but he's gonna feel incomplete until Carl comes around, but then I'll need a Barney to round out the tavern crew. Ah, the dangers of a line like this.

VVery excited for the 4" figures wave 3. This line comes with some of the best accessories.

Had to run up to an area with a Target and Five Below yesterday, and because I am weak, I ended up grabbing the 2.5 Simpsons family pack, Flanders, Wiggum, and Krusty. Still haven't managed to find a Sideshow Bob, Itchy, or Scratchy, but the Target had what looked to be a full case of Krusty on the peg, so maybe there's hope yet for the others. I do think that, at least as far as space is concerned, the 2.5 figures are the smarter bet for me right now, even if they're not necessarily as impressive. But either way, they're a great deal for the price.

if Jakks is planning on mixing in some B and C list characters (e.g. Otto, Lenny) before some of the more A list characters (e.g. Principal Skinner, Mr. Burns) I think that is a far better strategy than what Super7 was doing.

I'm still hoping we see a Homer, Bart, Krusty, etc. with some dang facial expression though

@wickerbasket For sure. The thing about the Simpsons is that even some of the much smaller characters are every bit as memorable as the bigger ones, so everyone is someone's favorite. I don't fault them at all for throwing Lenny in there.

Hopefully more facial sculpts is something we'll see as the line progresses and gets more popular. I'm sure there's a lot of re-use at the front of the line just so they can cut costs and maximize their investment. If things continue to sell well, though, I'd hope it would be a possibility. Heck- they could jump on the bandwagon a lot of companies are doing and include a swappable face plate or mouth or something. The figures are already priced quite fairly, and while I'd love to see that continue, I'd pay an extra dollar or two if it meant a little more customization. Heck, has there ever been a Homer figure that comes with a drooling facial sculpt? Feels wrong to never represent such an important part of the character in plastic.

Lenny not A-list? Pish-posh!

Seriously, I like that they're getting in characters like Lenny. Weird to have him without Carl, but it's another reminder to re-read that amazing David B. Cooper comic about him. And Homer at the Bat is a nice classic episode to draw a Homer figure from - did Playmates ever make that look?

What character variants are people looking forward to with this line? I'm hoping for a Summer of 4 Ft. 2 Lisa and Stupid Sexy Flanders.

Yeah, there was a Homer at the Bat figure. I was thinking it was the only Playmates figures I kept at the time of the great Simpsons sell-off but I actually only held on to Dancin' Homer — which I'd gladly pick up again.
