I wouldn't be shocked if Wave 2 is Scooby, Velma and one villain; then Wave 3 is Fred, Daphne and a villain to make sure the crew is completed, then Wave 4 could be Scooby Dum, Scrappy Doo and villain?, Wave 5 maybe Scooby Doo variant (hawaiian shirt?) and two villains, wave 6 could be Shaggy variant (red shirt repaint with alternate accessories makes sense), Scooby Dee and a villain...
I could see them getting the main crew done quickly to make sure they get out, but then if sales are there start expanding a little to auxillary characters and variants to see how it goes.
There are any number of Scooby variants that could be done though - he wore a lot of costumes over the years - Shaggy too for that matter. They could do a Scooby and Shaggy variant in every wave and have enough to keep going for years and years.
I was going to suggest Scooby in a Sherlock Holmes outfit, but I couldn't find an animation cel confirming that it ever happened. Did I hallucinate the whole thing?
@tsi Sherlock Doo, episode of The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries. That one would likely be the Ghost of Sherlock Holmes from the episode, with alternate head/neck and hands to be Scooby.
A bit disappointed that these are $30, but I suppose it's to be expected, given the decisions the buffoons in charge are making.
Edit: Buffoons are not referring to any member of Jada or Jada themselves (They're doing as fine as they can)
@nightwolf For me, it would be the purple werewolf too. That's what I think of when I think "Scooby Doo Werewolf", probably because it sees a lot more use in marketing than the green one. I don't know- the green one doesn't read as "Werewolf" as much as just like a hairy goblin or something (probably because green is usually more associated with goblins/zombies/Frankenstein/etc). I like the red eyes, but beyond that, I gotta go with purple.
Did they ever say when Tony the Tiger was going on preorder?
j/k, I'm wondering that too.
Jada need to announce they have the Hostess and Big Boy license.
Im super pumped about the new Frosty figure, holy grail.
Since Tony the Tiger went up for pre-order, I ordered the cereal monsters because I decided I want a collection of cereal mascot figures. In an interview at Wondercon, Juhn said they plan to make a couple of new cereal mascots each year as long as sales persist. That sounds great to me for these, a slow growing collection that doesn't require lots of purchases each year to keep up with releases. I hope Lucky and Cap'n Crunch are next after Fred and Barney, and they get shown at SDCC or NYCC.
Lucky is the Loki to Tony's the Tigers Thor
Hoping they do a Kool-Aid Man. With a brick wall.
Would love to see them do Quisp and Quake.
Saw Count Chocula and Booberry at Ross, $8.49 each. I dont collect the line because there are too many other lines I collect, and potential on deck lines I might collect (like the new Star Trek figures or Jada Invincible). Still they looked pretty cool.
