Which Dracula? There's like 6 separate Draculas in Scooby-Doo. Most would make for a fun toy though.

I'd say once main gang in original looks are done and they get onto variants of them, it may be cool to add a fourth "other characters" slot to waves.

A few characters I could see in that slot:

  • Flim Flam with Scrappy, or a single release of each.
  • Hex Girls
  • Vincent Van Ghoul
  • Hot Dog Water (Bring her back Warner)
  • Gang family members that would be a cheap and easy retool. Scooby-Dum would be a hilarious release.
  • Etc one off supporting characters from all the movies.

The big question here is will we get figures from the much beloved by the Scooby fandom show, Velma.

If this line goes on long enough to get a Don Knotts and all of the Harlem Globetrotters then...well I don't know how to finish that sentence without exploding with joy.

@ibentmyman-thing Great...  You just put the thought of a NECA Ghost & Mr. Chicken Knotts figure in my head.  🤔

I wouldn't mind a Barney Fife figure.  I don't need the rest of MayBerry, but if NECA did Barney or the Munsters Family (in scale with their other figures) I'd be on board.

Aw, heck, I'd love a Don Knotts. Grew up watching all his old movies and his Scooby episodes, and I loved the Night of 100 Frights video game, where he played an important part too. Out of all the celeb cameos from New Scooby Doo Movies, I'd say he would be my absolute top choice. Plenty of other ones that would be great to have too (and I suppose you could fudge in the Batman and Robin from the 66 series into the line as well), but Knotts is top, maybe even over Vincent van Ghoul for me.

Oh, and the Dracula I mentioned was the one from A Gaggle of Galloping Ghosts, along with Frankenstein's Monster and the Wolf Man. I feel like the Wolfman became the most iconic/used of the 3, but I still see the Scooby versions of all 3 used on merch often enough. If for no other reason to have the Scooby versions of the classic Universal Monsters. I know these aren't technically the UM and are completely different characters, but they're generic enough, and since we're already getting the Mummy in wave 1, then having the others would be fun too.

Ah, I always wondered Don Knotts' name. I grew up watching Scooby-Doo but I was too young to remember Knotts' name/recognize him from elsewhere. He's an indelible part of my childhood.

I finally looked up a list of Scooby-Doo Where Are You villains so I could wishlist with you all. I was surprised to find the original series only had 25 episodes. I must've watched each of them countless times.

For me, the most iconic are:

  • Captain Cutler
  • Phantom
  • Ghost of Elias Kingston
  • Wolfman
  • Mummy of Ankha (whenever I hear the word "coin," my first thought is still his moaning "coin, coin, coin")
  • Zombie
  • Witch
  • Ghost of Redbeard
  • Space Kook
  • Ghost of Mr. Hyde
  • Creeper

My number 1 and 2 might actually be the Mummy and Creeper, so Jada hit a home run there. Elias Kingston and Wolfman would be my next biggest wants.

What I'm gathering from everyone's wishlists is that Jada can do basically anything and everyone would be pleased, especially if we get Don Knotts.

As long as they get all 5 members of the gang out, we're looking at 10 monsters to start, before we even potentially move to other iterations of the cartoon or various movies.

I think the 5 gang members, surrounded by 8-10 unique ghosts/monsters, should make for a perfect self contained display.  I can't wait for this line to really get rolling!

There's also some great designs in Scooby Doo Meets the Boo Brothers, and the 2000s animated movies, like the Witch's ghost, Alien Invaders, and of course, Zombie Island. That's some of the best Scooby content out there, it would be great to get some figures from them, after the main gang of course.

As an FYI, these are the monsters that were released in the 5" line over the years. I think this is complete, some never made it to the US but were sold in the UK, so may have missed some:

1000 Volt Man
Beast of Bottomless Lake
Black Knight
Captain Cutler's Ghost
Creeper
Dracula
Frankenstein's Monster
Ghost
Ghost Clown
Ghost of Redbeard
Headless Horseman
Phantom Racer
Skeleton Man
Witch Doctor
Wolfman
Zombie

Looking at that list above makes you realize how iconic all those monsters are. So easy to remember them.

@shadzcat Yep, some really cool and toyetic designs. They also made two sets of Scooby Gang variants - Tiki Island (Hawaiian shirts) and Ghost Patrol, plus some scared versions of Scooby and Shaggy - and glow in the dark versions of at least 4 monsters - Zombie, Redbeard, Skeleton Man and Phantom Racer.

Equity made the first batch around 2000, and Character Options revisited the line about 5 years ago.
