Looks like we've got 1/18 scale Negan and Walker King from Dead City coming!

Negan looks really good-- Especially for a 1/18 scale figure!

At this point if they’re not the same size as McFarlane’s 5” line there is really little point in anyone starting a walking dead line with such a large cast and waining interest.

Not into Walking Dead, but depending on how that final Walker King figure turns out I may end up getting it anyways just cuz of the grotesquery. 🙂

Certainly an interesting choice to make, and one that I don't necessarily see going for a super long time. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a huge, expansive line, but as many others have said, interest is certainly waning (though picking up again with these latest spin-offs). There's a ton of characters I wouldn't mind from the original series, and plenty of interesting Walkers that would make awesome figures, but I'm not sure I'd commit to the line unless I saw we were getting a fair amount.

Dead City and Daryl have been some of the best TWD in years. It's just funny they both seem inspired by The Last of Us and now there is an adaptation of that on tv.

Anyway, I think I'm in for at least the mains from those two, if they are only doing new stuff.

Lol.  'Nobody's interested unless it's more of Todd's hideously fugly crap that plays with no other line anywhere' is certainly a take that applies to the 18th market.

Hiya announced a Daryl figure from the Daryl Dixon show. Still need to get around to watching both shows, but the figures look nice so far. The Rat King Walker thing makes for a really cool figure. The Daryl might be the best likeness we've gotten from a smaller figure so far. I'm interested to see how the quality holds up in-hand. Hoping for at least a Carol figure before the line dies out, and hopefully since she has a beefier role in season 2, that becomes a possibility.

I've pre-ordered every figure in the line so far. The likenesses are so good at 1:18 scale. Part of me wonders if there isn't any post production magic going on in these images, or if the figures are scaled up prototypes.

I guess we'll see. I've only owned a few Hiya Toys figures over the years- a few Injustice 2 and a few Alien vs. Predator, so not much in the way of plain human figures, but the ones I've had, and the others I've seen on the shelf, all look remarkably good for the scale and price point. Doesn't mean they're not touching things up a bit in photos as well, but I haven't seen many, if any, that would make me question the brand's quality.

Nah, the Dredd figures look exactly like they do in the pics.  They've revamped their engineering format starting with the last few Preds, Dredd, and RoboCop lines so they play much better than ye olde Colonial Marines, Aliens, and Injusturds ever did.  I still absolutely *despise* the wrist ballpeg bullshit and replace every hand I can with a MarauderInc.com spare; but the figures as a whole are perfectly fine action figures.

I'm in for Daryl & Negan, but hope they lean in & at least give us all of the OG(ish) characters appearing currently on the various spin offs.

Maggie (Dead City)
Rick (The Ones Who Live)
Michonne (The Ones Who Live)

And SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER (if you avoid entertainment headlines - this was publicly announced by AMC but don't want to disrupt anyone's viewing experience)

Carol (Daryl Dixon S2)

END SPOILER

Looking over my BBTS POs, I notice neither Daryl or Negan appear to have hindarm swivel. Do they have butterfly shoulders to allow them to bring their hands to their mid-body, are these pics of prototypes where the swivel cut hasn't been added as seen in the Joe pics, or are they just not going to have that ability at all?
