Just got my MUTO from BBTS, and I gotta say I'm pretty impressed. Fun figure, some interesting articulation choices I wasn't expecting.
So do we have any news regarding the impending shipping dates for the Godzilla Classic line? That Hokkaido Godzilla should be hitting warehouses in China shortly right?
The most recent "coming soon" thing I've seen Hiya post about is the second Skull Crawler, with the new colors and the tongue thing.

My first reaction was to publicly shame you for calling for Zilla but thinking about it for a second, it would actually be pretty great to get a nice quality figure from that movie. It wasn't a terrible design, though a bit of a letdown at the time. (It was kind of cool they tried to keep the design under wraps until the "event" movie was upon us. I worked at TRU and we weren't allowed to open the shipping boxes when they came in a week or so early. But then you saw Zilla and were like, "That it?" It kinda grew on you, though.)
I did have the "real skin" version that was motorized and reared up and roared, which I thought was done really well. I'm not sure where it is these days but I'm guessing that "skin" isn't holding up real well.
And yes, we definitely need a Stan Winston Godzilla.

I'll wishlist the obvious one: Destoroyah Godzilla, in the style of the old SHM one (translucent reds/yellows, w/ smoke effects).
EDIT: Oh, and I want the male MUTO, as well.
Ha, I only mentioned the three I did because they seemed less likely than some others and they're things no one's really done before (well, Zilla, sure, but not in these higher-end lines really). Of course I want Hiya to get to my own Big Three kaiju: Destoroyah, Biollante, and Hedorah. But I figure if the line goes long enough, they'll get to those.
More daydreaming, but you know what other designs I would love to get figures of? The kaiju in the Gemstone animated short films from G-fest. I was bummed not to get another one this year, but the last two with Gigan and Megalon were pretty dang cool.
Any possibility of getting Jet Jaguar in this line?
All we can do is wait. The line's still pretty young, and they've only recently even started branching out from the Legendary movies. Hopefully it'll go a good long time and hit some real depth in character selection.
I am still waiting on that Hokkaido Godzilla. I'm praying that the first initial reviews and shipping notices will hit berfore Thanksgiving
