Very pleased, Hiya is just killing it with this line. Each release is almost better than the last.
GMK! Yes!
Hiya is murdering my wallet. 😫 😝
The New Empire Kong figure is up for pre-order now, and it's beautiful. But you know they're gonna release a whole separate one that includes the gauntlet down the line...also possible it comes as an accessory with the little monkey guy or something too, I suppose.
Very nice — that's easily one of the best Godzilla designs.
I always thought the NECA version was pretty good but the proportions look a bit better with Hiya.
Another beauty from Hiya:

@cmoney that thing looks fantastic! This was the Godzilla I was most disappointed Neca didn't get around to, so I couldn't pre-order this fast enough. Hiya is really doing great work on this line.
Hiya has pretty much all of my money going to their godzilla lines. honestly I hope they continue to destroy the competition like this. I will sell off every single one of my SHMA figures if Hiya continues to make gorgeous figures like these. Damn the wait has me so excited. Also if its on time the 1991 Hokkaido Godzilla should be shipping from overseas suppliers and directly from the manufacturer within the next 90 days? I hope its sooner than later. Q4 technically starts in one week.
@stoopid_sandwich I agree, they're just killing it.
Man, BBTS doesn't have the release for 91 Gozilla listed until March next year, but maybe they're just taking into account how ungodly long it takes them to actually get their imports in. I only just had the MUTO added to my Pile of Loot last week and I know it's been out for months overseas.

From what I understand the reason why it takes so long to get figures overseas from china to their overseas suppliers is the fact that most of their domestic orders are reserved for one batch and then their international retail partners go out in a second batch. Also due to the Chinese New Year, production grinds to a halt during that Q1-Q2 crossover in February so factories have to get their products out during the Christmas rush when shipping containers might be less available, or they run out the clock and wait for business to resume in the spring when all of the ships are back at port and try again when there is less demand. This is the reason for the 4-6 month gap between importing or buying direct vs waiting for a retail outlet like BBTS or EE to get their orders in.
Also I have no doubts that Godzilla 91 will be ready to ship directly from Hiya if only because its preorder window was 9 months long and because they've already listed the heat ray variant and made the announcement that all of the changes in the body design shown in the variant will also be applied to the standard release tells me that these figures are already on the verge of being listed as 'In Stock' and ready to be sent on on their way to the ports in Los Angeles by sea and import customers by air.
Interview with a rep from Hiya from back during SDCC. Not a ton of info, but the guy does mention wanting to do Singular Point and Minus One:

Hiya King Ghidorah Gravity Beam version is in at BBTS.
@kal-el Huh. well that release managed to get a pretty quick turn around. It's barely been two months since I got my Gravity Beam Ghidorah directly from HIYA. I wonder how this bodes for future releases that have to be shipped overseas. I'd love to stop paying an extra $30 in shipping if it meant I didn't have to also sit through a 4-6 month grace period by ordering through a US retailer.
