Hiya Toys Godzilla

I own some of the Monsterverse figures from Hiya, I think they're good, not great, just good, but with this Heisei Godzilla I have mixed feelings, the shape of the head, the thin body and the legs look off to me, some people tell me the figure It's accurate to the suit used in the film. The figure is OK for its price, although I have a feeling the actual thing won't look this good.

I'm late to the line, anyone know cheapest place to grab King Ghidorah?

Maybe Entertainment Earth if you can catch one of their free shipping sales/codes?  He's $120 on BBTS, $110 on EE.  I paid less on 5K Toys but I don't think they have any in stock anymore?  Also $120 on Amazon with free shipping for Prime folks.

@cmoney It was not letting me use a code on ee, think only works for in stock.  Do hiyas typically sell out and get hard to find quickly?  Might wait for it to be in stock so a code works.

I honestly don't know.  Ghidorah's no longer available on 5K or on Hiya's own site, but I figure at least in the former case it's because of low stock ordered in the first place as they're a small company.  BBTS is sold out of a lot of the initial releases.  Neither BBTS or EE have sold out of Ghidorah pre-orders though.

There's a spoiler pic floating around out there of a figure from this line that's for something not shown in any of the trailers, and it looks fantastic...

It does look pretty cool — much better looking than the version revealed among the stuff released at Walmarts last month.

I feel like it was a mistake revealing the gravity beam Ghidorah before retailers got the regular one in stock...  Oh well, saves me money.

And I found the leak thing y'all were talking about.  Not sure what big deal is, they're making Shimo, big whoop.  Anyone can see Shimo on shelves at Target and Walmart, he's no spoiler.

The spoiler is that he's a she! 

Also yeah, think I'm gonna can my order for the first Hiya Ghidorah and go for that second one. 

People who aren't plugged into the merch and online stuff don't know Shimo exists.  But the Hiya figure looks great.

I'm perfectly happy with my first-release Ghidorah, so I don't need to buy another one for the beams.

Kinda stinks the gravity beams Ghidorah is revealed soon after I got my Ghidorah.  And it's cheaper than the regular version. 

Haven't seen the Hiya Shimo reveal pic yet, but based on the Playmates toys, I'm not a huge fan of the design.  Will reserve judgement until I see the Hiya and film images.  I hope a Doug figure happens though, as I like its design.

The Shimo pics have been taken down a number of places, but are pretty easy to still find via Google Image Search.

Finally got the pre-order processing email from BBTS for my Skull Devil figure.
