Are the belly scales too light colored? I feel like they should blend a bit more with the rest of the scaling...uh, I admit it was tough to tell in the movie but that seems wrong to me. And I ain't interested in a v2 of Ghidorah just to fix paint.

That looks like 80% an entirely new figure than the one I (regretfully) bought. They added a shitload more POA, from the butterflys to the double elbows and knees; but I just can't imagine him being good enough to offset the facts he's still 2 inches shorter and about twice the cost of the MezCo and NECA Kongs. I've still got some NECAs at my Target if I want to armybuild more Big Ass Gorillas but I've already got a 4some with 1 MezCo and 3 NECAs.
Plenty of new figures in our future, I assume:
Yeah, I might have to get CyberKong. Now he can fling poop at the MOON!
Is this actually green or blue? If blue, I may need her for a custom.

Considering it's labeled the Emerald Titan, I'm assuming it's green.
Skull Island Kong is definitely better-articulated than the GvK one:
Just got the email that it's time to pay the rest of my pre-order for Ghidorah from 5K. Too bad they're not carrying this line anymore, even with the fairly steep shipping cost it still ended up about $11 cheaper than BBTS. But that sorta evened out once Hiya was able to sell the newer stuff outside of China (which I assume is why 5K stopped offering them).
Imags of Hiya's first classic Tokyo Godzilla figure, form 1991's Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah:

Man that 91 figure looks incredible. And I'm still shocked that this was their first announcement in the Toho Classics line. And how long have we been waiting for this exact suit from SHMA but it never came? 13 years later and the best they can do was the Shinjuku 91 as a consolation prize
After not carrying the last few Monsterverse releases, 5K Toys is now offering the Toho '91 Godzilla figure. But I think with their shipping prices it's going to actually end up more than BBTS ($48+shipping vs. $50.99).
My King Ghidorah cost $20 to ship, for those interested. Still ended up less than the BBTS base price on that one, however.
