Shown below is a look at the early paintmaster for the upcoming Roberto De La Torre Inspired Battle Of The Black Stone 7" Conan figure which was designed by Eamon O'Donoghue and sculpted by Gurjeet Singh. The figure will be fully articulated though note these paintmaster images do not feature all the articulation that will be included. The figure will come with a number of accessories as well. You can head over to Conan.com and be placed on a waitlist for more details. No word on pricing for this one at this time.
Joined the waitlist for this one. Looks amazing, though I'm a bit nervous about sticker shock.
Ok, while I did put myself on the waitlist, it's mainly out of curiosity. I've got 2 Mezco's I'm completely happy with and I don't really collect 7".
Dagnabbit... I love Eamon's sculpt and design work. I am not a Mezco fan, so skipped their Conan offerings. I also didn't sign up for the Frazetta Girl's Conan figure... but this one, this one I'm probably in on. I really like the specific look. The size works better for me than the others.
I am a little confused by the design sheet - are those separate figures or is the figure going to have swappable garments for the torso? The text is tiny but I believe it reads "One individual figure multiple looks OR three individual figures (retailer dependent(?))"
If that's the case my preference would be for three different figures with non swappable clothing as I think the mechanics of swappable tunics - especially the torn one - are challenging and prone to tearing.
Regardless, I am definitely intrigued and very interested. But where on the site did you sign up for the waiting list? I see no link or reference to any such project on Conan.com
@panthercult I'm unsure about the figure loadout as well. I'm thinking there might be three separate figures and a deluxe edition with swappable parts? You can sign up for the waitlist here: https://conan.com/fig-waitlist/
Awesome... thanks for the link - I could not find that scouring the site. I love me some barbarian toys.
I hope he has some sort of butterfly shoulders, specially the sh figuarts kind, because in the key art they showed, Conan is holding onto his axe with both hands in front of him, and that's a pose that I would love to do the figure.
