Thanks @yolk and @panthercult !    Hmm yeah, maybe I should just order the duo from 4H, it sounds like BBTS's upcharge on the bear isn't going to make it worth ordering it there.  I imagine the stuff ordered direct from 4H get's shipped sooner too.

Wasn't really noticing the fur/feathers on the bear until you guys were harping ( 😬 ) on about it.  I see what you're talking about now.  Doesn't really bother me, but I do acknowledge it.   Like someone else said, maybe a less-is-more approach should have been used where there aren't so many individual pieces of fur.   I do wonder if maybe the rear half will be reused for something like a griffon-type monster in the future.  So the fur was sculpted to also work as feathers.   Not too many articulated bear figures happening though, so I'm happy to get it.

Probably true... keep in mind though - when you order through 4H you pay now and get the toys when they ship in 8 months or a year.   If you buy through BBTS you pay when the figures are ready to ship to you.

In this case, it looks like this wave isn't out until 2025, so it's likely over a year wait after paying the 4H directly.

Honestly that's all good by me!  I actually prefer pre-paying in most cases.

The new wave looks fun. Attlus 2.0 and Skapular 2.0 are must-haves. Not sure about the rest. It’s all tempting, but I will need to think about them.

Did you all see the surprise reveal of the Valiant Knight at the convention? It’s a preview of the added articulation for the newer knight bodies. Looks awesome.

And has there been any word on when we can order the Blood Knight 2.0? I really want that one. The original Blood Knight remains one of my favorites in the line.

@akatsuki Blood knight is sometime in 2024 IIRC from their post on Instagram, my guess is probably around the same time we'll get a shot at the new knight. I'm really tempted by both.

LegionsShop.com will have some on sale this weekend if you want to try to get the exclusive translucent head with Blood Knight 2.

LegionsCon 2023 is now behind us - but we have one more thing to do before the fun is fully done. As we have done in past years, we held back a small number of LegionsCon show figures to sell online at LegionsShop.com. We have also added the small amount of unsold stock from the show to inventory to offer those up as well. Here is what you need to know:

The sale for these figures will be this Friday, 11/17/23 at 11am EST. The sale happens at LegionsShop.com!

These figures are the SHOW versions just like we had last weekend at the event. This means they come in the show packages and include the extra bonus pieces!

Prices for these figures will be $65 for the Vorgus Vermillius 2 and $120 for the Wal-torr the Mad 2-pack. These prices are slightly more than at the show to cover added costs for online fufillment and to account for the cost that attendees had to pay to buy badges at the show for the figures.

Figures are limited to a maximum of 2 of each per person/per figure! We will cancel any orders over this amount as we try to keep it fair for everyone and get these into as many hands as possible.

Prices do not include shipping.

All orders will be filled in the coming weeks. Please allow us a few weeks to process these figures and get them on the way.

These are all sold AS IS. We do not have replacements, and some of these may have less than perfect packages. Be aware of that when ordering since we cannot promise mint condition boxes on these.

We have a VERY limited number of these available, and if past years are any indiciation, we expect them to go quickly.

In addition to these figures, we will also have the LegionsCon 2023 pin sets which did not arrive in time for the event. Those are $50 each, which is what they would've also been at the show.

The best way to score the LegionsCon show figures is AT the event, but we do our best to try to bring some to those who cannot attend - so set your calendars and be ready for this Friday is you want score your LegionsCon 2023 figures!

Hey guys, I have an odd question for anyone who collects both lines: does anyone know if there are Mythic Legions heads that would fit on the NECA Gargoyles to make them more generic monsters/demons? I’m more concerned with scale and texture matching, but if any of them also happen to be a close color match, that would be dope.

@thwiptster so Mythic Legions doesn’t really have any “generic monster” heads

yeah, theres Orcs/Goblins/Vampires/demons but they’re all very very human-like, in most cases it’s going to be a lateral move from the Gargoyles’ roaring heads to a mythic legions “monster”

if that’s okay with you The Belphagor/Demistros head would probably look pretty good on Goliath, and the male demon (available in blue, yellow, and red) might work as well. Krampus too but at that point just use Krampus. Any of the Goblin heads could work on Lex, but again you’re just trading one growling bald big eared Gollum looking head for another so probably not worth it.

what you’re really gonna want to do is is look for some of the many 3rd party custom head sculpt makers on Instagram and find a really good monster sculpt that suits your needs.

I meant less cartoony, since the sculpts of the gargoyles are a bit more on the animated side of things. An orc head on a buff, winged body sounds properly monstrous to me!

@thwiptster Oh! Well if that’s the case I just checked. Any Mythic Legion 1.0 head will work on Goliath. Highlights include the screaming vampire from the heads pack, the standard orc, the a aforementioned Demistros head, and the minotaur. Goliath’s head peg is smaller than a Mythic Legions so they fit without modification, though some blue tac would go a long way to hold it in place.

the Bog Goblin/Helphyre Goblin head has a unique attaching method so it can’t be used without heavy alterations.

I have the full line of Gargoyles and nearly all the Mythic Legion sculpts (not every color, but I believe I have at least one of every head sculpt) so if there’s any combo of Gargoyle/Legion you want to see before acquiring parts to build it let me know and I can try to take a photo.

@doc-baghead That’s really good news! I guess I would just like to know if you think any are a close enough color match to avoid repainting? Any pics of the ones you think look cool would be great.
