I just remembered the sale was live and was able to grab 2 of the Ninian snake men. That's all I really wanted from this sale, so good for me since I spent A LOT of money already since the start of the new year.

Yeah, I saw those but I was after these guys. Probably my favorite thing 4H released last year. I have the 4-pack preordered, but they're a different deco.

Did I really miss out on a Brother Mandibulus, Gonxx, and Snagg?  I didn't realize they were going to put stuff up that I actually wanted!

@akatsuki I think it was a Jade Knight which almost won that poll.  A shiny green knight is also something people have been wanting for a while now, so at least these armory figures scratch that itch.  A Jade (and/or greenish bronze) knight would be nice.

I still think these Armory Knights should have been Legion Builders (give me a cheaper figure, as I can always paint rivets if I want to).  And should have had an extra head with each figure.  The higher pricepoint for what should conceivably been cheaper Legion Builders is just an odd approach and borders on gouging.  A nice concept but not ideal.  Despite my gripes, I still ordered a few of the Armory Knights.  I just feel dirty doing so.

I hope at some point there's an actual blue knight.  A nice metallic blue would be cool.  I believe there was an early skeleton gladiator which had blue armor but a full knight in that color would be really cool.

I'm wondering if these Armory knights will take the place of any legion builder/reinforcement wave for this year.  Granted, these were essentially convention figures with some extras going on sale now.  I thought they were planning on having a reinforcement wave every year (or so) which could get some more basic figures out into the fold.  Maybe they'll use this Armory event as a gauge for future reinforcements.  See which colors people best respond to.

Oh... dammit... No one told me the Snake Men with LEGS were going to be part of the in stock sale.   I definitely would have bought some of those.   I like them way better than the snake men with tail.    Sigh... I didn't even bother looking at the in-stock sale, as I thought it was old stuff I didn't need.

I am super bummed about that right now.   I really, really wanted some legged snake men and they are sold out.   They appear to be the only thing from the in-stock sale that is sold out.     Drat.

Mythic Legions is one of my most collected lines over the past few years but I almost find it offensive that they’re charging extra for these Armory Knight builds. It’s literally just old parts that are painted in a single color for each “figure” with basic accessories… And people buy them!

They’re not even characters and would need to be swapped with other figures just to make them into such. If anything, they should cost LESS than standard figures, not more. It’s like they’re price gouging their main collector base of pop-and-swappers (I am not one of them, I just find it strange).

Yeah, the pricing is weird. They're essentially army builders and while I do think the paints look great, they're charging more for them than those exclusives, and even stripped down from the deluxe two-packs, you get a LOT of good stuff for 37 bucks. I'd argue a lot of the army builders are better than the armory knights.

I really love the brown armored one and kinda love evil gunmetal one but... It's funny, if they were 37, even 40, I'd get one or both, but I kinda don't want to feed into the machine at this price. If each one came with a really bland humanoid head I might even sell myself on one or two. I figured they'd be sold out by now.

And man, the surprise in-stock... I'm always tempted to get a second elf ranger every time I see one. I used the un-hooded head on a basic elven knight ages ago but would love to go full Legolas with one too. I was kinda relieved it sold out before I made a decision.

Mythic Legion book and Silver Knight legion builder preorders are dropping on Monday.

This is more like it for a legion knight — both in price and accessories. Definitely gonna grab a few. Supposed to be in before the end of the year.

These boast new parts, but I assume we're still looking at single-jointed elbows and knees?

Whoa! It's wild to know that someone I've seen in an overseas TV show enjoyed these figures.

RIP Robert.

@sephiroth61787 Yeah, he was a really nice guy. It was a much, much smaller group of fans back then. I sold him a set of Xetheus figures back in the day.

I know it's largely out of the Horsemen's hands, but it's been 2 years and I'm getting antsy for Necronominus. The first of that wave shipped from China in early December, but a more recent Instagram post from the 4H said they're expecting it to arrive at their warehouse in late January.

The Valiant knight limbs are single-jointed but have improved range of motion than prior Mythic Legions figures.

Some figures in the newest preorder wave have double-jointed limbs, like the Roman soldier and Hyena-Man.
