I learned a new term today: JOMO : Joy Of Missing Out. I think that's where I'll be come Monday morning.
Yeah, the relief of not feeling huge pressure to buy is nice. I'm good for one or two figures just because I have a plan for them in my collection and they've been available for so long elsewhere I don't think I'll have trouble buying them. Maybe I'll grab an in-stock army builder knight for that spare bearded head I need a body for instead of one of these 45 dollar knights. I literally just need a human-sized body that needs an unmasked head.
My JOMO is the unmanageable size of that dragon. I just don't have enough house for a dragon the size of a goldendoodle.

This is where I landed on the dragon as well. Its pretty and Ill admire pictures of it, but I'm not renovating the house to add a room for it to occupy.
I'm not sure they'll ever make a dragon small enough to fit in my display case, but I'd love something ~12-16" long and 10-14" tall. A baby dragon in comparison to the behemoth coming next year.
Loving the concept of “JOMO”, I’ve been trying to live my life by the concept for the last few years (do y’all know how many kickass Classified and Black Series figures I have to tell myself I don’t want to collect because I don’t need to start another collection?!) it’s nice to have a phrase to put to it!
not here though, shiny candy colored knights are what I live for, $45 is absolutely fucking insane, but at least they have nice paint. Solid color legion builders don’t do it for me these can at least be their own characters, would feel better at even $42 but such is life I guess…
also, probably getting that dragon if it’s not priced insane. I’ll make room for a centerpiece like that, I sit on the sidelines and watch everyone else enjoy their GiantMens and Razorcrests so I have room for a dragon later…

Beast of the Mesozoic has a Frost Dragon which could work with Mythic Legions. It's 1/18 scale, but it's large enough to work with MyL as a small dragon. I'm sure they have other ones in the works, but the Ice Dragon was their first dragon (since the line is almost all dinosaurs).

I use their 1/18th Utahraptor as a mount for my goblin knight and the scale is perfect.
As well as the Arctic Dragon, there is a Lizard Dragon that will be available once the latest Kickstarter's stuff starts shipping:

Interesting. Hadn't realized they revealed another dragon. I don't follow the line too closely. Only have a glow in the dark triceratops from them. They're stuff is a little pricey for me. I'm content the the Mattel Hammond dinosaurs, but I do like checking in on this company's offerings every so often.
The lizard dragon is interesting. Almost insect-like in the torso proportions and of course wings. It could be a neat monster to battle 6-7" figures as well a 4" ones.
It was one of the last items that made the stretch goal for the latest Kickstarter, so they haven't really had much else to show on it as of yet.

I looked at this a few months ago and couldn't figure out how to order it. It's a pass for me, though. I don't love the feathers or lack of wings and the price is crazy. Hopefully they put out a more traditional fantasy dragon eventually.
I missed Valiant knight so these armory knights are tugging at me. I love the look of that emerald knight with the bucket and horns. Pretty versatile for my elves or my small knight squad. The gunmetal one is tempting too.
Two Ninians are definitely going in my cart. I did preorder Bassylia. I’ll make call on Lion lord later. He’s really big.
Looking forward to ordering on Monday.
Thwipp!
I preordered the Lion, Snake soldier, Hyena, and Roman legionnaire.
The Armory Knights have me super excited. This is what I wanted this line to be in the first place. The Purple Knight was in the original promo images for the line. The Green Knight nearly won the original Kickstarter fan vote, and it’s a character from Arthurian Legend. And the Red Knight is supposed to be the coolest looking in person. And the gunmetal colors are universal. I just wish they were offered in a more spread out fashion because it’s a lot to spend at one time.
Crud ... no Skeleton legion builders or Valiant Knights for the in-stock sale. Was happy to see the Elf Ranger, which I jumped on along with the brown leather legion builder and a pair of Ninians.
Ended up skipping the armory knights because I really wanted a nice buck to put the spare, human head from the fancy Gawrychh figure onto... and an extra Gawrychh was 37 bucks instead of 45 and has that fun soft goods cloak. Weird buy for me - also picked up an extra Gassparr so I could use the dwarven lower body and head one as well (got a soft spot for dwarf monk characters but wanted to keep Gassparr as an orc monk instead). Basically just rebought the basic versions of both characters so I could use all the bonus pieces from the fancy two pack.
Caved on the snake warrior too just cos he's a really good looking figure and I like the legged version more than the tail version I skipped last pre-sale.
Still tempted to pick up 1-2 armory knights, but wanted to get the must-have buys in right away so I didn't miss them. (I also wanted the stripped down versions of both Cosmic figures - the two-pack was too much stuff for me and really just wanted their base figures, unlike the Mythic two pack that came with SO MUCH stuff I wanted to use.)
