I really like the look of the last two dragons, but as with all Mythic Legions, it's coming down to a space thing. Although the D&D nerd in me really does want a black red blue white and green to go full Tiamat over here...
Speaking of weird joints, I was mucking around with Duban yesterday and swapped his hands so he could hold his crossbow. The vertical hinge left hand feels loose now that it's in and I'm worried I've ruined the figure by swapping hands. My one real wish for this line is that hte hand pegs were longer for more stability. the lil stumpy pegs make me nervous.

I've been all in since the start with this line but that is also my complaint. It is built for swappability to the detriment of stability. Wrist pegs are too short so hands are wobbly, hips are often floppy (esp on v2/elf/female bodies), waists often pop apart (esp with addition of soft goods stuffed between torso and waist). I love that these are easy to customize but heat should be required. I really dislike that the base figures are often unstable and fall apart or are floppy.
@bat Yeah, I've had entire figures just come apart out of the box recently (the genie was terrible in this regard, came out like a box of parts). It's frustrating cos the figures are beautiful, but I'm more a photographer than a customizer so I want stability more than customization. Hands that drop out of the socket because they're holding a warhammer don't do me much good.
Wondering if I should do the old heat/cold thing on Duban's wrist to tighten the hand. Honestly, I can't tell if it's just a bad peg that isn't as wide as the one he came installed with though.
The BBTS Stavros Dragon was an immediate preorder for me. Love the dragon-men in this line. The colors look really cool.
It’s too bad that all three dragon guys use the same head. I know reuse is baked into the line but some variety in dragon head sculpts would have been nice.
The 4H posted on Instagram this morning that they still haven't received any Necronominus shipping updates from their factory so I think a 2025 ship date is inevitable at this point. Guess we'll see if the factory ships before the Lunar New Year?
They did explain that there were more figures pre-ordered from Necronominus than any other wave and these figures are more complex than their earlier figures so this wasn't entirely unexpected.
Honestly the delay is fine by me, gives me more time to actually pay them!
Is the Rising Sons stuff before or after Necronominus in the production queue or is it entirely separate and unimpacted? The only Mythic Legions thing I currently have on order is the Bear Mount which BBTS shows as arriving in 4th Quarter of this year. Is that still likely - or should I be expecting that next year in reality?
No, Rising Sons isn't coming this year. We'll probably be lucky to get by next summer.
Yep, I just checked Source Horsemen — they're expecting them by mid-year 2025.
Nice. Since it isn't exactly cheap it will be much better if it shows up next Summer so I can claim it's a birthday gift 🤩
Their shipping used to be a little more predictable until the Poxxus wave, which delivered nearly two and a half years after pre-order (revealed 11/21, started shipping spring of 24), and it's looking like the Necronominus wave will have a similar time frame.
If the factory can get Necronominus on the water before Lunar New Year, I think the fastest they could possibly proceed is All Stars 6 delivering in spring, Cosmic Legions OxKrewe (same factory as far as I know) in summer, Rising Sons in the fall, and Ashes of Agbendor at the end of 2025. I'm hopeful that Rising Sons won't get bumped to 2026 by production issues because while they have a lot of new parts in that wave, they don't have any complicated effects parts like Poxxus or substantially new body types like Necronominus.
Caveat: I don't have any inside knowledge of their production schedule. I'm just a fan making inferences.

That's exactly what an insider would say.
He was just at a con with them, too!
They're issuing the skeletons in an ashen white color now. It's a four-pack.
The Creature arrived today, and damn, what an excellent figure! Top 10 contender for sure. Part of me is mad I didn't get 2 so I could have him both clothed and in just the loin cloth. But I reasoned he'll be re-released with a green hue. All the diorama pieces are excellent, too. All the Obscura releases that I've bought have been great, and it's the best sub-line ever made.
