Decided to snag Red Death. I'm not super familiar with the story, my main exposure to it is when the Phantom of the Opera dressed as the Red Death in the 1925 film, but it's just a really eye catching toy. I also love adding to my horror figure collection and this will make for a very unique addition. Just like the Headless Horseman and Krampus before it.
Wasn't planning on ordering Red Death- even managed to withstand the first day of ordering, but they got me on the second day. Saw a video review and that sealed the deal; I'm all wrapped up in spooky season right now, and it just hit that perfect note for me. I love Poe even during the rest of the year, though, so it wasn't hard to convince myself. I think it looks amazing, especially with the clock and base of blood. 4H know I am weak for the spooks.
Luckily for me he finally sold out, so I won't be tempted. Great looking fig but he would have frightened all my other toys into shelf diving, but more importantly frightened my wallet when a bunch of POs are about to pop.
Including the retailer Headless Horseman, which I am stoked for. Crossing all my fingers that BBTS gets it out before Halloween.
Saw a spoiler video of what is behind the mask and I was happy to have guessed right. I won’t say more than that but it is cool.
More Red Death stock went up at the turn of the hour, I ended up buying one to see how well the sentry alien head matches with the skintone of the body, the lanky proportions could make for a good alien.

Yep, I convinced myself that I didn't need or want it. But this morning's e-mail got me. Just ordered. Weak willpower and bad impulse control are a dangerous combination when it comes to my figure collecting. 🙁

Got mine today. Was surprised at how fast it shipped- way faster than the Horseman from last year. Haven't had a chance to open it yet, but I'm stoked to add it to my Halloween shelf.
Anyone got a picture or link to a review that shows what's under the mask? I'm inpatient and curious.

Interesting! I definitely prefer him with the mask on, but it's cool that they made that detail. Those little things are what set 4H apart!

Same. Ordered an all-in literally the first minute it went up and no shipping notice yet. I’m just more curious about in what order they ship in because it doesn’t appear to be in a first in, first out style. To be fair they were very upfront with things taking a while but it is frustrating to not know what is driving the shipping order. I remember my all-in Horseman was one of the last to ship last year but my all-in Father Christmas shipped like the next day after ordering. Seems totally random, but I can’t imagine it really is. That seems chaotic and prone to errors and lost orders.
