Favorite Figures of 2024

I have one big one enroute that I suspect will make my list (Mondo Cyclops), but right now my favorites this year are:

I'm going to leave out Classified, ML, and Jada SF because they would take up a lot of spots.  My other favorites:

I started my top 10 at the beginning of the year so I could keep track as figures came in. It paid off because this year was super competitive.

Looking back on what I bought this year, it was far less overall than recent years. My favorites also feel a bit boring, a lot of improved versions of things I already have had. But my top ten would be:

I'm holding off doing my Best Of to see if Eradicator arrives in time or not..! But as a rough estimate, I'd say Medicom Cap, Daredevil, and Bane are probably dead certs, along with Elkhorn, Death's Head. Will likely add in Missing Link Optimus Prime too because that guy was pretty much a childhood dream fully realised.

Might include SHF Jar-Jar out of sheer perversity.

• SHF Kenobi TV-Show Darth Vader. Nice enough figure, but I prefer my MAFEX Rogue One Custom (removed the plastic underskirt with a homemade wired one.) Putting this guy up for sale.

Great year, happy holidays everyone. 

There are so, so very many figures I love from this year that I'm overwhelmed trying to come up with a list of the top 10:

But near the top of any list I created I know would be these:

FMF Operation Monster Force  Dracula, Forgotten King and Crimson Moon Sleepwalker.    I love these figures and am super happy I pre-ordered them.    I can't wait for the next several waves

Beasts of the Mesozoic Smilodon -  this long toothed black fured sunnuvagun is so pretty to look at.    I'm not entirely in love with all of the articulation choices.    It's super interesting standing it next to another candidate for my favorite figure of the year Zabu -  two very different takes on Sabretooth cats -  both of which turned out fantastic.

I can't pick favorites from the rest right now -  and I still have a pile of loot incoming from BBTS so it would be premature to make my list yet anyway.

Will probably have to edit my list, as the Tomy Kickstarter 1:10 BttF Delorean is being shipped soon!

I got a few others but these are some of my favorites. Indy specially, I had been waiting for decades for a good 6" Indiana Jones and he's so good. The Mezco one looks really nice also, gonna try to get it if possible. Obi Wan I also had been wanting since forever and I finally found him for a decent price. He honestly got me hooked on SHF Jedi figures, now I need more!

Having just got him under the wire, I definitely need to add the NECA Ultimate Christopher Lee Horror of Dracula figure as one of my favorites of the year. Loving this guy.
