I think they look pretty good, all things considered!
Aragorn's likeness is definitely off, but I don't think that's just a DST problem- Viggo has a notoriously difficult likeness to nail. I've always really dug the Black Gates uniform- the blue, silver, and red colors look so good together, and it's an important enough outfit/scene to feel necessary. I wonder how he'll look next to that Cave Troll, and if we ever get the Mouth of Sauron, I'm sure they'll look great next to each other.
Galadriel is definitely an interesting execution, but I don't know....I don't hate it. She's not one I need to get into crazy action poses, and the fact she comes (hopefully) with the whole mirror stand, will really help things. I like that, if they were going to go with the unarticulated lower half, they sculpted the leg slightly outward to simulate some movement. The likeness is definitely there too. The enchanted Galadriel would make for a nice exclusive somewhere, I think. Don't know if I want it taking up a mainline slot at this point, with so many others left to do, but I'd definitely grab it if they made it.
So I guess that leaves Gandalf the White with whoever else in the following wave (assuming they don't just make him a deluxe). Seeing as how Aragorn and Galadriel don't really have anything to do with each other, I wonder if Gandalf's wavemate will be someone removed from him- I'd say Theoden otherwise, but an Elrond and/or Arwen would finally be nice too, even if they'd make such a nice wave themselves.
Not sure how I would have preferred Galadriel to be executed... I don't love soft goods in general, but I don't want the traffic cone treatment either. I'll be interested to see more in-hand images.

I hope they have these two figures at Toy Fair so we can get video and images of them to better see how the lower half of Galadriel looks. It almost looks like a solid piece and not flexible plastic over articulated legs. Couldn't they just do a cut along each side of her dress, like the Wizards' robes? I didn't see any cuts in the promo images.
You know I see a scenario where this is a great excuse to package a hobbit and regular sized Lorien cloaks as accessories for Galadriel so Frodo and Aragorn can finally have theirs.
Or, replacing Galadriel with Gandalf the White so she can be released as a deluxe stand alone for the accessory potential. The cloaks, Legolas’ Lorien bow and arrows, a hand for Frodo to hold the ring.
Who'd actually pose Galadriel in any other pose than static, really? DST have made the right choice here. Hell, with how the dress is made, I wouldn't even be mad if she didn't have have any legs under there, especially if that meant the mirror stand would not be cut in production.
To be honest, it's kind of hilarious that DST finally attached the scabbard to the figure and it's the one time they shouldn't have because Aragorn doesn't actually wear the scabbard in this outfit. It was attached to and left on his horse. Jimminy Jumpin' Christ, I tells ya.
Be interesting to see if they make a new Anduril or re-use the one from the first Aragorn. That one seemed kind of small and, on the one I had, there was tons of flash from the mold. I've seen more recent accessories are way nicer and more crisp. I still haven't seen Eowyn in person anywhere. I wanted to check her out for sure. Did she come out already?

Those look great! I will definitely pe order these 2 just like the rest. Galadriel's dress and articulation doesn't bother me at all. Like Shinigami Customs said, all I need is a static stance and pose for her.
All I'd need to move well for her is her arms, and they seem to have the usual articulation.
I'm so happy to get this version of Aragorn though.
That Galadriel looks like a modern interpretation of the Toy Biz figure and I love it! The pose is also extremely effective - gives her lower half life. And she did nothing but stand still in this outfit anyway - she doesn't need legs OR a slit in her dress to break up the fantastic look.
Her sleeves might need to be longer and more flowy, though. They look... truncated, and will look especially weird if her arms are positioned straight down. Maybe alt arms like Saruman?
@arondir I suppose they could always release Gandalf the White as a deluxe as well. I wouldn't mind some cool magic effects for his staff; I know they showed him off with one, but something more dynamic like the WETA statue or the Funko came with. Throw in a couple extra cloaks with him too and call it a day.
Though, admittedly, it would be rather perfect to come with Galadriel, since they were her gifts to begin with, but if it's at the expense of the mirror and stand, then I'd rather they release them elsewhere; maybe with an Enchanted Galadirel, because other than the mirror again, what could she really come with? Would also incentivize people to get her, since I don't know how many folks would consider her a crucial part of the collection otherwise.

I wonder if they'll be able to include both the extra sleeves and the water mirror stand. I guess I would be happy with the trade-off of having less articulated legs for having the stand included. But, I had my heart set on recreating the Galadriel vs Gandalf breakdance battle scene.

I ordered the Wave, but I got x2 of Aragorn. I actually have 2 of the first Aragorn as well, so I may do a head swap putting the older Aragorn head on one of this newer figure.
I wonder if we will see the next 1:10 scale creature at toy fair. DST will be there, it’s just before the auction of the company is supposed to take place so they may be going all out.
