Gandalf would be series 10 no? We still don’t know what’s in 10 and it won’t be releasing until fall/winter 2025. 

@arondir I believe you're right. For some reason, I was thinking Merry and Pippin were series 9, not 8. Regardless, would love to see him sooner rather than later.

Oh, and the McFarlane Hornburg Castle playset looks pretty cool. Yeah, it's all cardboard, which sucks, but I would've gone nuts for it as a kid. No idea where I'd put it- then or now- it's over 7 feet long- but still. He's gotta release more figures, though- looks very empty with just the 4 figures and the BAF. Can totally see people who collect miniatures snagging it for a nice display, though. 

I would have gone crazy for that playset as a kid too. In fact if my kids were younger I would be getting this for them. We had tons of fun with the MOTU Classic castle when they were real little. 

In the DST booth tour Zach confirms Gandalf is part of wave 10. 

guesses for the other? I’m still confident on Mouth of Sauron.

no, but it’s on the website, I would be shocked if it’s not included but we won’t know for another 6 months. 

It always looks to me like the helmet for Eowyn is just removable.  The helmet looks a bit rubbery, or flexible and looks like it just goes down over her head.  I didn't think there was both a helmeted and unhelmeted head sculpt.

But I have no idea.  it's just how it looks in the promo pics.

@arondir I can see it either being Mouth of Sauron or Theoden. Now that we're technically onto TTT and ROTK characters, I could see it being either or. Eventually they'll probably have to forego the whole "these two logically go together" thing that they've seemingly been doing so far. I feel like Bilbo and Tauriel were kind of the start of that; heck, we've had multiple waves that aren't even the "one good guy, one bad guy" thing, so I feel like lineups might be a bit harder to guess going forward.

All that said, it'll probably be MoS, but I'd probaly prefer Theoden a bit more.

I would be thrilled with either of those.  Mouth of Sauron is one of my top 5 wants, as is Theoden.

So, either way, I'd be psyched.

At this point I think my Top 5 are

1.) Mouth of Sauron
2.) King Theoden
3.) Elrond
4.) Eomer
5.) Gothmog.

I always have to say this though.  I really want the characters from the prologue battle against Sauron. Elendil, Isildur, and Gil Galad

Was watching ToyShiz's stream of the DST Panel and they said Eowyn would come with an unhelmeted head. Showed it off too. Around 23:40 Looks a bit like young Galadriel to me, but it may just be the angle/quality

The head sculpts on Eowyn are actually slightly different, the mouth is slightly open on one.

I'm super interested to see what Gandalf's wave 10 mate will be.  I'm REALLy hoping it's Theoden!  I'd love the Mouth of Sauron as well.  Those are the two that seem to make the most sense to "pair" with Gandalf.  I guess Denethor and maybe Grima could work as well... but I want them much less at this point in the line.  Hmm.. Eomer could work as well since they showed up at Helm's Deep together.  

so, my guesses are in order of likelihood:

Theoden

Eomer

Mouth of Sauron

Denethor

Helmet for Eowyn is not removable. Hair would not look right. 

Gandalf the White will come with another previously released character in a new look. Hope everyone likes it. Probably won't be revealed for a while.
