No wave 9 up for PO this month. That pretty much locks in 4 figures for next year unless we get a con exclusive again.

@normdapito Yeah, they both came with one. I even just checked the packaged pics online to verify. Sorry, my friend! Hate it when that happens. Maybe you'll end up finding it somewhere- it's possible it fell out and under something? They are rather light and thin, so you never know.

@joshsquash729 if it fell out, it was on an area rug I have vacuumed since. Not the end of the world, I wouldn’t have displayed it anyway.

Got my Merry and Pippin, finally!  I really like the figures themselves, a lot.  The accessories are kinda meh, for me.  I appreciate that they exist and were included with the figures.  That's cool.  I just don't feel like I'll ever pose my figures with anything but the swords.. but that's just me!

I'm insanely happy to have the Fellowship complete!!  It looks so good up on the shelf.  So happy.

InArt just announced they are doing 1:12 figures now. Very likely they do LOTR.

Oh no.. I can't.  That might be the first soft-goods line that gets me (if it happens).

Getting hyped to spend $150 a figure. 🤡

@arondir haha!  $70-$100 is the estimated cost... but I have my doubts.  Now that I'm thinking about it, they probably won't go super deep into the line if they do LOTR at all, so maybe I can resist.

I’d love to see them do it but I am afraid of what it would cost. My guess if they go for soft goods with quality sculpts and paints is that it will be closer to $150 to $200 per figure. I would think they would be more expensive than Mezco. Their 1/6 Gandalf and Aragorn are fantastic. I would love to see them shrunken down to 1/12.

And that’s a wrap on Season 2 of Rings of Power, what a huge jump in quality.

I would love figures of Elrond in armor, Annatar with the crown, and a borrow wright.

it’s crazy Middle Earth Enterprises (Embracer) is not letting merch rights out for this.

Definitely looking forward to seeing wave 9.

Rings of Power is a mixed bag for me. I really think they did some things great and other things they have done I do not like. Mainly when they stray too far or change from the source material I have issues. I am okay with them filling in the story, it’s when they go off in left field and do things that causes issues with what the source material says (including the material they technically don’t have access to). Other parts of it I really like. I think they did a great job with Sauron in season 2 and they are hitting a lot of the major heartbeats of the 2nd age even if some are a little out of order.

I would also love to see some of the characters make it into figure form. If they ever do I would want to see Annatar in the first wave paired with either Arondir or Gil Galad in armor.

Me and my girlfriend both watched Season 1 and 2 together and we really enjoyed it. I definitely wouldn’t object to action figures from the show by DST as well. I’m also anxiously awaiting DST’s figures for “House of the Dragon”.  I hope they will also do like they are doing in their LOTR figure line adding characters from The Hobbit films and do “Game of Thrones” figures! I was slow to get DST’s LOTR figures but I am slowly catching up. I can’t wait to finally have a version of Old Bilbo to add to my collection! I never had that version in the old Toy Biz line.
