After watching ROP season 2 an Annatar figure is such a NEED. Really enjoying the season so far 

I'm only 1.5 episodes in and I'm loving the armor.  I want good reference pics for all the different elves.  The Eregion Elf guards were especially cool.  Can't wait to see more.

Pleased to have added the SDCC Gimli to the collection (Thank You Amazon UK!)

Looks great, but had to boil the cape to get it to fit the old Gimli (which I think has better weathering) and heated up his beard to so that I could squish it closer to the body.

I do have to wonder why that tankard is so tiny though, looks silly when he's holding it.
The pipe is a great addition though!

Was hoping to have him perched on a rock & smoking, but with that leg articulation it's not happening 😆

Pleased to see the Ian Holm Bilbo first, but the Tauriel pairing is very odd.
Strange way to kick off the Hobbit sub-line.

Ok where did you get that Palantir holder for Saruman and where can I buy one?

I was thinking about the Palantir 'Pedestal' and the New Gimli and it made me think...

If they're going to start making improved re-releases, they should make an accompanying accessory pack for each wave so that people who already have them don't need to re-purchase all the characters just for a new head sculpt, cloak or pipe etc.

OR add a BaF part to incentivise re-purchasing them, that would work on me! 😆 

I totally understand re-released them as it allows new collectors to jump on board without having to pay a fortune trying to catch up with all the characters.
Ultimately it should help with the longevity of the line.

They could offer some exclusive accessory packs when you preorder the entire wave like Super7 does.

Received Meriadoc Brandybuck and Peregrine Took from BBTS today, just in time for second breakfast and brunch. I was actually taken aback when I saw two packages in the shipper, thinking they sent doubles. But even though they seemed to be solicited together, they're packaged individually. I was fully expecting a 2pk. Anyway, having both, I love that my Fellowship is finally complete, buuuut it makes me want a Samwise to match, wearing a jacket and elven cloak. I imagine odds of that happening are slim. Still, it's super satisfying to see the group complete.

My Amazon preorder for Merry and Pippin went from "releasing on Sept. 11, 2024" to "temporarily out of stock" on Sept. 11th.  So, I cancelled the preorder and ordered directly from DST.  I didn't want to have to pay for shipping, but I had $5 in rewards, so it hurt a little bit less. 

I'm excited to get the figures.  Not necessarily for the figures themselves, but for the fact of completing the fellowship!  It feels like a big milestone!  I feel the same as NORM about Sam, but I'm happy to have him either way. 

I'm happy with the direction of the line overall.  Though the first Hobbit figures still confuses me.  Since we're getting Eowyn, I'm really hoping we'll see Theoden and Eomer at some point.  The thought of those armors in 7" scale, with all that detail, just gets me all giddy.  That gets me thinking about Faramir (especially his Ranger look) and I get more giddy. I could keep going, but i'll stop there.  Don't want to get too giddy..

It would be super cool if someone like NECA got the license for Rings of Power to have more releases throughout the year, the wait time is so long between waves. Looking at Jan/Feb for wave 8, then summer for wave 9. It will nearly be two full years since we saw Gandalf the White for the first time and release, even assuming he is in wave 10. 

Finally shipped my pile of loot, with Merry and Pippin included. Should be here early next week. Really looking forward to having the Fellowship complete. Eagerly awaiting the ever-elusive Gandalf the White, whenever he decides to show up, which, as we all know, is precisely when he means to.

They may have been offered as a set, but they were solicited at $29.99 each, due to the cost of each figure (the same as a full-size figure), so hopefully everyone checked their cart total before they checked out. Their being two separate figures bumped Gandalf the White a few waves, but he will arrive eventually. 

And Samwise comes with an elven cloak!

@msword right right, I meant jacket like the other three Hobbits.

The Frodo Diorama that goes up for PO tomorrow looks sick! I imagine Sam is close behind.

Finally got in Merry and Pippin, and I dig them. I wish they had a bit of a smaller grip so their swords weren't floppin' around (you heard me), and could hold their pans a little easier. Gonna try and find a way to attach the scabbards as well. Weeee doggies are those pipes flimsy as well, but I suppose it's a design that lends itself to breakage even if they were more rigid.

All that said, I'm glad they came with the elven cloaks, and I'm so stoked to finally have a full Fellowship! Still gotta try and get some cloaks somehow for Frodo, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli (I didn't pick up the SDCC Gimli), and then I'll feel a bit better. But I'm still so in love with the line. Bring on the future waves! 

"Pipes" plural? Did they both come with pipes? I only saw one with Pippin. Did I miss Merry's? That packaging is long gone...
