Hi everyone! I couldn't find an up-to-date convo for this topic. I've been trying to buy more action figure flight stands, but the ones I've bought for years have been changed by the manufacturer to be shorter and are therefore pretty useless.
Anyone have any good recommendations that are currently available?
This is what I used to buy but what they ship now are much shorter despite the older deceptive advertising photos, and no washers on the screws.
Tried these but a lot of them broke at the top.
Tried this one too, but it's the same as the first one under a different name.
Anyone have any good current suggestions? Have figures that need to fly! 🙂
I would love there to be some better quality transparent figure stands available that don't break so easily, as you can then hold your figures in all sorts of cool poses.
Hopefully some good things come from this thread.
While I'm loathe to recommend Mezco (their customer service is abysmal), they have excellent flight stands. The only drawback is the bases are rather large, so they take up a lot of real estate on a shelf, but Canofbeams offers a base for them that is much smaller and just as stable.
Thanks GillMan! Anyone else have any current suggestions?
Edit: wow! Amazon will not let m copy paste this link! Just search “Jetec Action Figure Stand” they’re the ones with the small circular base
I’m partial to these stands because they’re completely modular (some similar stands, including Tamashii don’t use standardized eyelets for the joints so can’t freely swap pieces as easily as you might want.) and have a small foot print.
You do have to assemble them, a pair of spru snips and an eye glass screwdriver are required (I believe a screwdriver is included) just order a couple bags, turn on a TV show like Classic Simpsons you’ve seen a thousand times before and won’t distract too much just provide pleasing atmospheric noise and you’ll have like 30 stands ready to go before you know it.
For heavy figures I like Storm Collectible’s stands, they designed to keep big chonkers hovering in jump kick poses and work really well, I have all my NECA Gargoyles standing on their little tippy toe feets using them with zero issues.
I like the Tamashii Nations Act 4s and the Obitsu stands.
I'll second Tamashii and Obitsu, although Obitsu no longer makes those flight stands so they can be a little pricey when you find them.

You can't just post the url into the forum anymore. You have to actually use the insert link button like so.
@salemcrow you can’t just copy paste a link?! There’s a button now?! Christ almighty I’m too old for this… I’d go to reddit if I wanted to learn something new
🤣
Yeah, just pasting Amazon links doesn't seem to work anymore with the new Wordpress forum.
I mean, the button is a little chain link image on the top of the reply box, so it's not too intrusive/troublesome to use.
I've always found the best flight stands for heavier figures are the Storm Collectibles display stands. They have a great height adjustment. 2 sized clamps and it articulates 90degrees at the top. A tiny bit of a space hog compared to others but these are thicker and sturdier.
Thanks for the suggestions! I tried the Jetec ones and they have trouble holding weight without flopping. Maybe I need to screw them in tighter.
I wish I'd bought more of the ones that had height and a slim profile when I had the chance. Didn't realize they'd become impossible to keep buying. 🙁
