I saw pre-orders for Gemini, and I like the aesthetic of the hair.  But screaming faces...man, I just don't care for them.

I noticed the other women in Wave 3 started w/ a neutral face and have a "screaming" face accessory pack.  Does anyone know if we'll see the opposite for Gemini (an accessory pack w a non-screaming head)?

I was looking forward to the not-Danielle Kelly character, but now that it's available it's really not a pleasant looking figure.

Maybe they were experimenting with a new expression or maybe they needed a last minute change when the Kelly deal fell through. In any case, it's quite a gap from my interest when the character was first hinted at.

Is that who it was supposed to be? I'm a joshi nerd; my first thought was Thekla from Stardom.

Honestly I may get her and make a custom.

What does everyone think of the huge weapons set? It's pricey, but I'm tempted. It seems like alright value for everything you're getting.

@secondwhiteline, Vala (or Valaverse, if there's a difference) sponsors Kelly and early on had plans to make a figure of her.

I really don't know anything about her or her sport, but I really liked the idea as a way of getting their own celebrity wrestler-type like Sgt. Slaughter without just stealing the idea of Sgt. Slaughter.

I still think it'd be fun to have, like, a little scrapper type on the team, but that Calibos face sculpt makes me pause.

@secondwhiteline I know it's just a coincidence, but I also thought she had a resemblance to Thekla.  Didn't mention it because I didn't think anyone would know the reference.  Without sounding sexist, Thekla is more attractive, though.

Looking at Gemini, I think she was supposed to have a mouth guard at one point and that got scrapped when they ran into the licensing issue for Kelly. Her face would look better if there was a mouth guard covering her top row of teeth.

Vala posted a video looking at the production sample of the Vanguard.

As usual, if you can push past him throwing unnecessary attacks at Hasbro (and, better yet, the people paying money to have their Hasbro jabs read), there's some fun insights in the toy making process.

I wasn't initially interested in a soccer mom SUV, but I started paying more attention after the Joe Classified VAMP render reveal left me a little underwhelmed.

I turned it off only a little of the way in because it was like every comment he made about his thing he HAD to follow up with a comment about Hasbro and I just got tired. I could have gotten all the info I was interested in told to me in half the time.

Like, who are the people watching the stream? Mostly folks already buying this line. It 's not enough for him that he succeeds, he also *needs* Hasbro to fail.

From all appearances the Vanguard seems like a decent 1/12 vehicle, even if I think the styling of the base body is pretty boring. The accessories are good, the price point is decent, and it's supposed to come with a matching driver.

Vala's gonna Booby! The toy looks cool, but at $200+ I think I'll focus on 3D printing my own vehicles as "needed".

My Thundertank still doesn't have a home. The 3D 1:12 Vamp, Skyhawk, C.L.A.W. and Flight Pods are all in a drawer. My Gargoyles are still in their boxes.

I sometimes wish 1:18 / 4" was the standard...

@flexion-dynamo I don't really get the complaints about the price. The vehicle's quite a bit bigger than the VAMP will be in close in size to the HISS.

What is the actual price? Is it a set price for the whole thing, or base price + add-ons?
