MEZCO G.I. Joe

Head sculpts on Duke definitely need tweaking. I think the smiling one is the best of the three, but those eyes are so beady and un-Duke-like to me. He could also use the insignia on the right side of his shirt, but I can live without it.

Specific examples escape me at the moment (been a crazy week with little sleep), but Mezco has responded to constructive criticism in the past by revisiting head sculpts; sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, sometimes just different though as good as what had been previously shown depending on your personal taste; there was even a time or two where they added an extra head based on feedback. Basically, @ them on their social media pages or e-mail them with your constructive critiques in a civil tone and I feel mostly confident it won't end up on deaf ears.

Personally, I'm excited for One:12 Duke as Duke is my favorite G.I. Joe character and that caveat comes with what I mentioned before in terms of hoping those changes get implemented so fingers crossed!

So I'm hearing Mezco are starting to process Roadblock orders... anyone here order him directly from them?

I did order Roadblock — received the processing email last week ... quickly followed by the unable to process payment shenanigans.

They haven't shipped him out, as far as I know. Kinda forgot about him, to be honest and I'm not too sure I even want him anymore.

UK based Kapowtoys has him in stock, ordered him 2 days ago so should be getting him soon.

it is a shitty review but the figure looks great. it may replace classified amazon roadblock....I don't like the head on that one.

He looks incredible, my only small complaint is that i wish he was slightly taller. He is a tiny bit taller than regular sized classified figs, but the taller ones like gung ho tower over him.

Absolutely love the head sculpts on Roadblock, he looks great.

Watched D’s review and he looks great but as far as Roadblocks go, this one’s kinda a manlet. Still, if I were doing this line I’d certainly pick him up.

I can't remember why I ordered Roadblock from BBTS for $30 more than Mezco.  He must've been on wait-list when I decided preorder (9/21).  My interest kind of dwindled over the two years 😏 and I probably would have canceled if not for the NRD, but the pictures have got me excited again.

Yeah, I completely get that. I find it hard to stay excited about a line where it takes ages for a new figure to be released. Hopefully that won't be the case now that these are starting to roll out. Snake Eyes should be out soon from what I've heard.

I know I'm late to the game, but I got a Destro from EE in the other day and just got around to opening it.  I'm more impressed than I thought I'd be.  I LOVE the head sculpts.  Every one is fantastic in it's own way.  I didn't like no material on the red part of the collar from pics, but it doesn't bother me in person.  I do wish the yellow chest had a cloth overlay, though.  I also wish the figure weren't so stocky.  He seems a little short and buff, which isn't what I picture with Destro.  The brief case accessory is cool, but I have no need for it.  I really like the gun case, but I wish it had a cover.  The shooting effect is great too.

For $100, the figure is a complete rip off, but I'm very happy that I got him on sale for $45.
