I think I'm going to need to do that. I might keep the other shoulder doohicky, but the skirt makes him unplayable. I've seen people keep the belt and slice off the skirt, so I was thinking about that too, but this seems cleaner. I saw online some people just pried up the hood on this Stormshadow a little and it improves the look quite a bit. Not a full removal, you can just see his eyes better and he looks a little less like Kenny from Southpark.

@unclassified the dyed parts?  yeah  when i was done dying i soaked them in soapy warm water, then rinsed and soaked in cold water for about 10 minutes.  I feel like I did everything I could after the fact, maybe using less dye in the first place would be better.  next time I'm going to seal the parts with mr super clear.  it's primarily that softer plastic like Hasbro limbs that spread the dye from soft plastic to soft plastic.

wow. This makes me not want to dye anything.

Out of fear of dye transfer, I ended up painting over the dyed areas that weren't part of joints.  I originally dyed the torso because of the shoulder joints.  I wanted to get deep down without any build up to cause issues with movement or paint scraping.  We will see if it works.

As far as I know, it's like a special type of paper you're printing on, so you shouldn't need anything special besides whatever program you're using to create the file/view the file (if you create the graphics or are printing from a PDF, etc).

You can use Photoshop if you have it, or an almost exact comparable FREE program you can use is called GIMP.

Depending on how the images are set up, you might need to do some cleanup around any negative space that would print on your paper otherwise, and require some fine tune trimming.
