Snow Serpents x 2 arrived from EE. I wasn't expecting them so soon.

Tomorrow is Walmart Collector Con.Â
Do the Hasbro items offered usually go up on Pulse the same time or before Collector Con kickoff?
I was getting ready to preorder those exclusives today. Â
BBTS still has Buzzer, so I bought one and shipped my POL. Â
So, am I the only one feeling like I could use a slightly slower cadence to the Classified releases?  I know it was a LONG wait after the Flint/Lady J wave, but holy hell I feel like I'm getting buried in Classified the last month.  Just figure after figure after figure.   I suppose for folks who only collect classified and have been starving for Joe in this scale its nice but for those of us who also collect other lines it's too much.  I've already had to stop buying multiples of army builders for both cost and space concerns.   But I need a breather, man.
I say bring as many as possible out before the next price hike 🤑Â
I've begun cherry picking the line (a tough task seeing how good most of the figures have been lately), so I'm not as hard hit as a completionist would be. It has been a lot, though, especially with release dates randomly and suddenly moving up by months, depending on where you order from.
Joe stuff is usually the stuff I open as soon as I get, where other lines tend to pile up a bit. But the past month worth of Joe stuff is still sitting mostly unopened because it's been nonstop. With that said I don't want it to slow down or stop, because I want as much as possible as quick as possible, mainly due to paranoia that the an asteroid will hit before I get a 6 inch Super Trooper or something.
As long as the figures are good, I'm fine with this breakneck pace. But as soon as I get a dud (my bad QC Firefly, Vypra just in general) I feel some major burnout/overload on the line. We kind of knew the fall would be wild with releases, but it would be nice if Hasbro could stick to their release dates within a month at the most. Speaking of which, just got an update that Tripwire is shipping soon from Pulse.

Supposedly the Joe team was told during the pandemic that they'd have to either pause the line, or cancel it, and they weren't willing to do either, so we're getting almost a year's worth of product in about 6 months.

Yeah I haven’t been able to keep up with the onslaught. I’ve been focused mostly on the exclusives I don’t want to miss out on while gradually acquiring mainliners (and certain exclusives) here and there when they’re found on some sort of discount.
@blankslate Its hard to tell. Sometimes they go up an hour early for Pulse Premium Members. Then other times, they just go up for everyone right when the Store the figures are exclusive to launches them. I'd check an hour early if you can. But no matter what, be on Pulse or Wal-Mart Con when it launches (10:00 AM EST)

That's a sound strategy.  Plus I just love the Python Patrol aesthetic for some reason - so I've been grabbing those first.   Sure wish I had been able to get in on that cheap Grunt parade.  He's a great generic Joe soldier but I can't army build at $25 per. Â

I’ve kind of stopped preordering Classified. It’s such an excellent line, but not my first priority. I usually only get characters I’ve heard of, so it ends with the 1987/movie line up. But not preordering, and instead picking them up when I find out they’re in stock at least makes me feel like I’m buying on my own terms when I’m ready for the figures instead of being at the will of preorder fulfillment. I too have had a lot of recent Classified gets, but I don’t feel as overwhelmed. But maybe that’s also because I collect so many other lines, and I don’t know where the onslaught of fulfillment stops from brand to brand. It hasn’t been just Classified. Got a ton of ML, TFs, SWBS all at the same time.
Does anyone here have the Grunt figure and the Steel Corps two-pack? Do the shoulder pads from the Steel Corps fit on the Grunt figure? They look too big on the arms Hasbro chose but they might add some nice bulk/armor to Grunt, especially for people who chose to army build him. I'm just wondering if the colours would match.
