@mrboshek that was the reason I didn't buy the TIE when it was super discounted. The profile is ENORMOUS, but it's mostly air. I sometimes regret it cos that thing was on fire sale for a bit. 

@salemcrow As a collector and a non-parent it irritates me a bit that he's openly intending to overcharge one customer base over another, but I'm more annoyed that he knows that collectors will just spend money to get things they want far more often than parents on toys and that makes me more mad at myself than anything else. 

I say this jokingly because I'm happily childless but "fill the void of a lack of family with expensive toys" is kind of an obvious joke following that interview. (Of course I say this 24 hours after my brother got a look at my studio for the first time ever and said "I want to just spend hours in here looking at stuff" and I know the reason I have a studio at all is because it's just me and my partner in the house.) 

I have that TFA TIE Fighter and it lives unseen in my attic. I should turn it into a table.

I would buy that Flagg in a heartbeat. I’d leave it in the backyard on a patio table no one uses. I’d have to invest in a motorcycle cover though to wrap it up when not in use  

I also ordered all the reveals that dropped. All looked good as has already been said. 

My only gripe is the SDCC Cold Slither set. Never mind the price. I’m concerned with availability  I want this set but it better not be a pain in the ass to get for non con goers. I’m still mad about Once a man CC. I really tried to get that figure but kept missing out with its oh so great limit 5 On Pulse deal. Limit should be 2 for the CS set. And Hasbro need to have preorders up again for that Once a man CC. 

I agree that ComicCon exclusives should have a low maiximum purchase limit on Pulse.   Heck, there was a limit of two per person at the actual convention, so to allow more to online buyers is kind of rude.    This set has a higher price tag though and probably will be slower to sell through.

@leor A pity you're on that side of the pond, he's still in stock over here (mainly because the movie/Cobra-La were never a thing).

@revox I still have hope that he will comeback on Pulse. His pic was taken down on Pulse for awhile but it eventually came back but saying sold out. 

i also received the not Sky Hawk from FansHobby. Like I thought, I will not modify it to look like a normal Sky Hawk and instead leave it as is as a special type of Sky Hawk for…….General Hawk. Its a pretty neat vehicle. There are 5 pegs on each landing skid so you can technically fit 5 joes on each skid making this non Sky Hawk carry 11 figures.  If I was still a kid, I would think it’s awesome, but the adult in me is looking at the modified version and thinking no joe that values his life would stand on any of those skids as they’ll either die by being sucked into the turbines or get impaled by one of the four smaller missles being launched. If modified to a normal Skyhawk, maybe 3 can stand on each skid instead of five without being chewed up by the propulsion system. However, I have no idea how they’ll hang on effectively if this vtol is going faster than 20mph. There a handles on the outside of the cockpit so the 2 joes on the front part of the skids can maybe handle a 30mph flight. Lol. The lights are nice but I could have done without it. 

I'm not super hot for any of the live action characters to be made into figures. There's a few I'd definitely grab if they offered them, particularly Retaliation Snake Eyes. But talking about Elektra from the Netflix Daredevil show over in the movie section made me realize... yeah, Retaliation Jinx is one I would jump at having in Classified.

Back in the day, I had a pitch for a USS Flagg that was just the tower and a roll-out vinyl mat for the flight deck. That'd be relatively easy to store, but wouldn't have the same prestige. Probably not even worth considering now since there aren't any Classified jets to use it. However, if they *do* make a WHALE, I have a second pitch ready for why the Flagg should actually be an LHD and not a CVN.

I've way over-invested in Joe vehicles, though. I honestly have no real display plan for the Rattler and Ramen tank I have on order, (heck, I don't have room for the Ferret I Impulse purchased) and shouldn't even be considering other big items. Still, I'm at least curious to see a HasLab Wolverine or modular command base. Hopefully I'm responsible enough by then to not get sucked in.

At first I thought that was a hooded cobra commander head... and then I realized it had the mouth showing and was all in all much too short to be that hood - and then I looked at the sculpted ridges on the forehead and it looks like a samurai of some sort.      It's definitely not Budo...   and it doesn't look right to be Samurai Storm Shadow...

I'm clearly not expert enough to figure out what that is  

But -  that's a custom head anyway, right?    It's next to a Samuel L Jackson head - so it's not like that's for G.I. Joe

Sorry, it's the third Cobra Commander figure, the armored one that was Fred VII in the comics. More leaks, and the Retro Bludd is next to him as well. The SLJ is for an upcoming Mace figure.

Oh... dear god... why did I look that up?   That is not an attractive figure.    Why?  Why is that what they are giving us?    Because they can't give us the hood?   Sigh.

Yeah, I was never fond of that one either, and will always see Fred VII when I see that figure. And I really hoped it's not because they can't give us the hood. They CAN give us the hood. Come on, Hasbro, you can.

Cool to see CC but I do hate that Hasbro swirly silver plastic when silver paint exists.  It's always so soft and sometimes you get swirls in the worst spots.
