Mercer will be great. I wonder if he'll be influenced by the Enegon Universe look where he's huge.
I have no idea who Mercer is...
Mercer is an ex-Viper that came in a 3pk called Slaughter's Renegades, with a couple other guys, Taurus and Red Dog. It came out at the same time as the Cobra-La 3pk with Golobulus, Nemesis Enforcer, and the Cobra-La Royal Guard.I have no idea who Mercer is...

Thanks! My excuse is that I never actually owned a GI Joe figure as a kid. I just played with them at my friend's house and he must not have had either of those 3 packs because I didn't know who any of them were. Most of my GI Joe knowledge comes from the cartoon which I watched religiously but for some reason never asked for any figures.
Apparently this is Mercer.
He’s a tad shorter than I expected. 😀
Is that a prank? I can't click it from desktop or phone..
They did feature in the GI Joe movie. That was pretty much the bookend to my watching the cartoon. Hasbro's CEO Chris Cocks Wants To See A New G.I. Joe U.S.S. Flagg Vehicle Made
"The full interview with Hasbro's CEO Chris Cocks we told you about the other day is now up on Yahoo Finance..... Finally Cocks was asked what his favorite toy was growing up which which he says was the G.I. Joe U.S.S. Flagg vehicle. When asked if people can still get that, Cocks responded by saying they don't offer it currently but suggested people should write in and let them know if they would buy one because he wants to convince Hasbro designers that they should make a new one."
That feels like a standard answer when someone asks for something from any toy rep "Let us know if you want one!"
I feel like the USS Flagg would be a disaster in this day and age. They would have to make it for 1/18th scale figures as it's absolutely unfeasible for the 1/12 segment. And even then it would cost at least $1,000 and have such an enormous footprint it's impossible to imagine them being able to sell enough to justify it's existence.
