Torch looks good. Cool getting the OG 'Noks together. Here's hoping for the later ones. I'm sure Monkey wrench, Road Pig and Thrasher are a given, but I'd like to see Zanzibar! Do him deluxe style with his hover-chair. Do it Hasbro, DO IT!

UGH, I forgot that this forum squishes vertical photos posted from Flickr. When I view on a desktop, all of the photos are smushed vertically. So annoying.
I take the BBcode link and remove everything but the first url that ends in ".jpg" and I can post more than 1 image from Flikr. I makes them more thumbnails, but they post fine.
Some thoughts on the Dreadnoks now that I've had a day to mess around with them.
Buzzer was one of my original GIJoe figures as a kid (along with Bazooka and Airtight). This iteration of him seems to be the most tame of the three Classified 'Noks. He's adorned with the least biker bling. Just a straight forward dude with a chainsaw. He does include that flail and bat modified with saw blades. But no gas can backpack like the vintage figure. I wound up gluing his sunglasses on for safekeeping.
Ripper was the Dreadnok I didn't have as a kid, so any iteration I have of him feels slightly new and unfamiliar to me. His Jaws of Life tool is great. I like his bayonet too. He has a spiked strap around his right bicep and a spiked bracer on his right wrist. He also has dog tags around his neck. These separate details definitely make him stand out. I also glued his sunglasses on.
Torch was one I had as a kid, and this version is amplified in every way. He looks like Lemmy from Motorhead. He's got separate chains around his wrists, his vest had spiked studs all over it. He has a spiked strap around his left bicep. His boot tops extend to cover his knees while being entirely part of the boot sculpt, which I like. His sunglasses are part of the head sculpt and are NOT removable. His flame thrower has a skull with flaming eyes and the nozzle of the thrower coming out of its mouth. It has three flame effects that can plug in, one sort of at rest, another longer flame, and one wider blast. I like the long one best, but will keep the smallest one in for display. The hose attaching to his propane tank pack is flexible but still kinda gets in the way. The thrower can store on the bottom of the pack, but the pack, like many backpacks in this line, has a hard time staying plugged in. Compared to the other two 'Noks, Torch's accessories feel more rubbery/soft.
Despite any flaws, it's very satisfying to have this trio completed. Monkeywrench was the other Dreadnok I owned as a kid, so he's pretty high on my wishlist. Unfortunately, I don't have space in my display for these guys yet. I'll have to take out some army builders at this point. But in the meantime, I've been enjoying posing them. I love how they look on the Punisher bikes. I wanna try to fit them all on the Ferret. I've also had them hanging out with ML Skullcrusher and Bonebreaker from the Reavers. I feel like they are all kindred spirits.

Welp, I didn't have any interest in Retro Beachhead, until that "jerk" on the front page had to compare them, lol.
I still prefer the sweater arms of the Cobra Island one, but holy crap, the green on the Retro is SO MUCH BETTER. And I literally had ZERO ISSUE with the CI green until seeing them next to each other, d@mnit, lol.
*sigh*
Retro Snake Eyes is one of the best figures in my mind so Beachhead was a no-brainer! I too love the CI one but I have no issue with two of this character. JoePro aside, I think the CI one would look great with the Cobra troops.
Just in case anyone didn't see the GameStop sale, BOGO 40% off, most of the recent Joes are in stock. I'm always cautious because GS has burned me before when I thought something was available to ship, but they did handle my Scarlett order well.
I ordered Doc, Beachhead, and two Jinx. I got two Jinx because I forgot to see if the Eel was available.The only two figures out tof stock were the Nightcreeper and Snow Serpent.
I've absolutely been burned by Gamestop.com as well. Says stuff is in-stock but they cancel some things after you check out and ship the rest. Should be illegal.
Gamestop refuses to accept my payment methods. Customer service claimed they'd look into it, but it's been months without hearing back from them. I kinda have no choice but to avoid them as a retailer.
I actually used them during this to get a couple SW Clone/BD 2 packs. I was gonna get the Destroyer droid but they'd only let me add 1 to the cart. What's interesting is they also let me use my $5 monthly reward, which they don't usually do on sales. And I got free shipping. So that was awesome. And they already shipped them so we'll see what happens.
I canceled my Walmart preorder for the Night cycle after seeing Preternia's post about the sale for $38.48. I also have an order with Pulse to be safe. Damn Walmart doesn't auto adjust the prices.
I’m keeping both my orders as one say 7/16 and the other 7/17. I’m going to see what is fulfilled. I’ll return one of them if both are filled for refund.
