So that is a pretty good exclusive on Hasbro's end as well. It looks like the new is everything from the waist up and the snake CC. Otherwise from the waist down, and all the other accessories, are old. Unless that removable faceplate is new as well?
So I guess this means Raptor isn't the SDCC exclusive after all? Wonder where he will show up?

Oh and I just picked up my Retro Eel from Gamestop (Canada).
Can I just say wow again. Talk about a great figure. I missed out on the regular release so this is my first time with the figure in hand. I love pretty much everything about it excpet the colour. He seems a little dark (greys and reds). Is the first release lighter in colour? If so I may have to still try and track one down (not the KO version that is seemingly everywhere now).
Going to have to see if I can snag another Retro version when it hits more retailers.
Definitely want that. That entire sequence was legitimately terrifying. Animated Cobra Commander isn't my personal canon Cobra Commander, and where they went with him in the movie as a one-time Cobra La scientist was definitely a unique approach, but i still love the movie.

@leor he’ll be in stock at SDCC so I wouldn’t anticipate a preorder unless they do another batch for online orders. He’ll likely go up as an in-stock item after SDCC.

As buttmunch said - since this is an SDCC exclusive there likely won't be a pre-order. The figure is going to be available to purchase for attendees at the convention, so I assume stock that's put up for on-line sale during or after the convention will be for immediate shipment and not a pre-order at all.
Ah. That’s right. No preorders for SDCC exclusive Joes. But they have not mentioned a specific date yet during or after the con when possible orders may go up either from what you guys are saying. I’m gunning for the Jada SF exclusives on July 25th so I was hoping something similar was mentioned for Joes that I may have missed.
The last two years the "Con Exclusive" figures went up for sale on Hasbro Pulse the same day of the Convention - so this year that would be Thursday July 25, Friday July 26, Saturday July 27.
But, the last two years they didn't have figures physically present at the convention either, and those were essentially pre-orders - so it could be that this year they hold the online sale for the convention exclusives until the Monday after the con ends - which is what they did some previous years in pre-covid times.
My guess is the sale will open up during the convention though.
lol I really, really want this exclusive. I have been trying so hard to cut back on everything but this is a most for me. I was a little kid when that movie came out on TV (my parents even taped it for me. That intro was epic back then). It was a big deal to me. Probably helped since I had the Cobra La 3 pack.
Somehow I'd convinced myself that this was how they'd include a hooded CC alt head so now there's unearned disappointment.
I’m still convinced somehow they will find a way to get the hooded version to us if only so they can sell us that classic buck a third time and make the most out of the mold.
