So I’m sure we can agree that the file cards really took the play to the next level back in the day.

The file cards gave us the character’s file name and birthplace. Their military specialty…Even how they might be perceived by their peers…

they gave us insight into who these people were and their motivations, foibles, and fears etc.

I really do miss em!

I figure with all of the authors on fwoosh could add their own unique touch.

COBRA S.C.A.L.E.S.

(Seductive combat agent/liasion espionage specialist)

 Birthplace: Various

PMOS: espionage.

secondary: various, usually small arms armorer. Familiar with all nato firearms

Established by The Baroness, these specialized operatives are mysteriously culled from all over the world as children. They are placed in special crimson guard families and raised as  a generation with an innate fanatical devotion to cobra.

cobra SCALES are always very beautiful and also very brilliant…they use their looks and charm to leverage themselves into influence. They attend the best schools around the world, have access to various levels of military and IT training.

It’s rumored that They will also marry wealthy men and use black widow tactics to get access to their fortunes.

From Flint’s file:

“Don’t let their good looks fool you…SCALES may be the velvet glove that hides the iron fist.

unlike many of the mercenaries within cobra’s employ SCALES are absolute fanatics.

thats part of what makes them so dangerous…

They -will- give their lives for their cause!”

This is a great idea for a thread. I haven't formally written any up yet but I've got mental notes on a bunch of custom characters. Bookmarking this to revisit.

I have written file cards for every figure I have but I don't know how many are worth sharing really. I swipe a lot from Mr. Hama or summarize things from the comics, or sometimes simply explain their role in more detail. Sometimes I'll swipe from actual file cards for characters I doubt they'll make in Classified. So not breaking a lot of new ground heh.

I've been intending to just make replicas of the old file cards but with updated art. I'd like to use one of those AIs that would convert the figure into a real-looking person, but I'm still pretty amateurish.

@fletch That's an awesome idea though. I've just been using hasbro promo pics and changing them slightly in photoshop. Nothing too fancy though.
